Lake Toxaway Country Club is a premier private club located in a pristine lakefront setting in the mountains of western North Carolina, an area that’s heralded for its beauty and recreation. The club is a welcoming home for families from across the region who come together to enjoy community and camaraderie in an amenity-rich setting. Lake Toxaway is an oasis for mountain living at it’s best.
Set on 5,000 acres, Lake Toxaway is the site of more than 1,000 homes. The Club is a single owner Club, owned by Reg Heinitsh whose father founded the Club and developed the land surrounding in the 60’s.
Serving as a respite of relaxation and recreation to it’s Members, Lake Toxaway offers something for everyone in the family. From casual dining to an elevated culinary experience, family programming, croquet, golf, pickleball and more, the Club has something for all generations of Members to enjoy.

Lake Toxaway Country Club is searching for a committed, caring, and hands-on culinary professional, who enjoys working in an engaging private club environment and one who has the ability to select the perfect enhancements to make a lasting impression
The Executive Chef will coordinate and oversee all daily aspects of the culinary operation to ensure the quality and consistency of the dining experience This professional should have strong leadership skills and a desire to promote growth and development within their department. The Executive Chef should have the ability to increase revenue while maintaining costs and providing an exceptional experience to the Members and guests.

Preferred Qualifications
✓ A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as and Executive Chef. Executive Sous Chef’s with tenure at reputable Clubs will be considered
✓ Experience in a luxury hospitality or club setting considered a valuable asset.
✓ Food safety certification.
✓ Certification from American Culinary Federation or other hospitality association a plus
✓ A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Club offers an excellent bonus and benefits package. The position is available immediately
