Notice Of Proposed Development

Section 3.40 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979.

The following development application has been received for consideration by Cobar Shire Council as the consent authority.

PROPOSAL: South Tailings Storage Facility Wall Raise – Stage 10

PROPERTY: Red Tank, CSA Access Rd, Cobar Lot 6336 in DP769222

APPLICANT: Cobar Management Pty Ltd

EXHIBITION PERIOD: Friday, May 12 - Monday, June 12, 2023

The application and any plans and specifications relating to the development, to which this notice refers is in the custody of Cobar Shire Council and may be viewed on Cobar Shire Council’ website for a period of twenty-eight (28) days from Friday, May 12, 2023.

If you wish to make a written submission in relation to the development application you should forward your submission to the Cobar Shire Council before 9am Monday, June 12, 2023.

‘Duck’ Grimmond, Barry Bargwanna, Michael Sargent and Tom Overend winning their match against the ‘Golfers Team’ of Alec Fraser, Mark Fraser, Paul Kershaw and Jay Egan.

Despite their best efforts on the greens (and there were quite a few awesome early shot bowls by Team Golfers), it was the experienced bowlers who claimed bragging rights by +22 thanks to their combined team expertise.

In the Social Bowls games on Sunday the team of John ‘Shark’ Daly and Allan Gardoll finished with a +13 win.

The scorecard tells the tale - a couple of +5 end wins over their opponents David Schofield and Kelly Beard.

Finishing as runners-up on +8 were Karen Daly and Deagan Brown over Tony Polack and Darryl Jermyn.

The triples game on Rink 6 of Gerard Livingston, Glen ‘Kiwi’ Ratcliffe and Damon Pike up against Don Roberts, Col Smedley (from Corryong VIC) and Greg Clark ended in a draw.

Apparently (according to intel received from rink 6 to rink 1 which cannot be confirmed and was therefore reliant upon judgement of alternate committee members), Kiwi won the George The Giraffe Award yet again.

Despite his protest, one wrong bias does not surpass three wrong biases

The Twilight Bowls winners on Friday night were John ‘Shark’ Daly, Kelly Beard and Greg Clark who had a +1 win over Karen Daly, Allan Gardoll and Steve Manns.
