The Bushcare Team Leader may have to turn potential volunteers away if the site is challenging and if volunteers are inexperienced or inadequately dressed. To reduce the risk of being turned away, please wear long sleeves and trousers, sturdy boots and select an activity suitable to your experience and ability.

The group is managing and replenishing wildlife habitat. These sites are not suitable LAMBERT GULLY FERN TREE for large groups. Inexperienced volunteers welcome.

BUSH ADVENTURES The Bush Adventures winter program is out and filled with activities for adults, children and families. You can view the program at hobartcity.com.au/bushadventures

Our Bushcare groups are run by volunteers working with the City of Hobart to help care for their local bushland reserves.

During Bushcare events children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bushcare is cancelled on days of total fire ban, high winds or heavy rain.

PLEASE BRING: Strong boots, warm waterproof clothing, a hat and a drink. Gloves and all tools will be supplied.
