he urbanized, industrial district that is TIME at Montecillo has gusto so it should come as no surprise that the businesses set up in there do not lack in any creativity and allure. The area is built on a heap of excitation and the spirits that abound are
thriving and fresh. Tin Man Filling Station embodies all of these qualities and ensures their beers are cold and in superabundance. And they do it for you. Tin Man Filling Station at Montecillo is El Paso’s only beer growler filling station that carries regional craft beers as well as beer from three very supportive local breweries. A macro brew mart, if you will, that’s part “sit-and-sample” or “get-and-go.” “Our atmosphere is low key to where you can run in and out or sit down and enjoy explains, ”Kenji Shigematsu, co-owner with Moises Valdez. The vibe is not the only thing that’s low-key, the prices could not be more chill too. “We want El Pasoans to come into Tin Man and tell us what their tastes are because we believe craft beer is for everyone and if you have an idea of what you like to drink, we’ll find the best fit for you.” Shigematsu and Valdez are both native El Pasoans with an enthusiasm for craft beers and a fervor to secure a spot on the map for their city as a craft beer location.
