46 Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” 50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. 51 So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” 52 Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. Mark 10:46-52
In the previous article, we started looking at the story of Bartimaeus, the blind man, who was healed by Jesus. We discovered that the best way to describe the kind of faith Bartimaeus demonstrated which brought his healing is to call it a Yive-star faith. We saw that a Yive-star faith comes from hearing, speaking and declaring the Word of God that you have heard. When you hold fast to what you have heard, no matter the opposition, you will receive your miracle.
Bartimaeus’ answer to Jesus’ question showed that Bartimaeus knew that there was something Jesus could to do for him. In Matthew’s account I believe, it says that Jesus touched him. In fact, the statement “That I may recover my sight” suggests that Bartimaeus could see before he got blind, he was not blind from birth. So, how then does a person recover or receive their sight? How do you receive conception? We have already established that a Yive-star faith receives, so how do you receive? You can receive your miracle by your actions. It is important to point out that holding fast to your faith does not mean that you are postponing your miracle. It does not suggest, either, that you have a complacent attitude. However, there is a way you can have patience without a corresponding action and you unconsciously postpone your miracle. To receive your miracle, you need to reach out to receive or take your miracle by your action. Therefore, the right attitude to holding fast is to say, “I am not just waiting to receive my miracle, no, I receive my miracle today. Even though it has not manifested yet, I receive my miracle today and I take what belongs to me.” Once this becomes your thought and confession, and you act accordingly, then, hold fast to it because the manifestation will surely come.
In this article, we will discover more things about a Yive-star faith as demonstrated by Bartimaeus.
A Yive-star faith receives by actions. You must do what you couldn’t do before; you must act the way you couldn’t act before.
A Five-Star Faith Receives The Miracle
You may say that your particular situation doesn’t allow you. Not
When Jesus asked Bartimaeus what he wanted from Him,
to worry, the Holy Spirit will show you what to do. Remember
Bartimaeus replied, “Lord, that I may receive my sight” (Luke
the analogy of making a pillow pregnancy in part one, whatever
18:41). I want to ask you a question: How do you receive sight?
it is; there must be an image you have seen that will cause you to act.
