IT’S A
DONE DEAL
Pastor Charles Omofomah
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Revelation 12:11
There are many vital lessons to learn directly and indirectly from this portion of Scripture. When the angel of death was to strike in Egypt, as recorded in Exodus 12:21-23, God told them to put the blood of the lamb on the lintel of their houses; that was the sign of their redemption at that time. In this article, we will look at four truths about the nished work of our redemption as children of God.
Our Overcoming Is A Done Deal The rst thing you need to know about your redemption is that you are an overcomer, and it is a done deal. Our main text says, “They overcame him by the blood of the lamb…” Overcoming is a done deal for the believer. Your triumph is a done deal. It is something that has been completely settled. You are an overcomer in every sense of the word.
The Done Deal Is Through Our Redemption The second thing you need to know is that this done deal is through your redemption by the Lord Jesus Christ. When Jesus presented His blood in heaven (Hebrews 9:23-28), that was when the statement: “it is nished” was fullled. Sickness and disease are
nished because they were nailed to the cross. Whatever challenge you may be going through, God wants me to tell you that it is nished. Don't sit and complain, speaking doubt. Nothing else can be added to your redemption. It is done. The Bible says in John 8:36 that if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. Even as you are reading this article, the healing anointing is present to heal you from all inrmities. The done deal is through our redemption in Christ Jesus.
Our Redemption Took Care of Both Sin and Sickness 1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form of comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and aficted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:1-5
