A Different Spirit Pastor Nkechi Ene (Mrs.) 20 “Then the Lord said: “I have pardoned, according to your word; 21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be ?illed with the glory of the Lord 22 because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, 23 they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. 24 But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.” Numbers 14:20-24
The word “integrity” may sound like a big word, but I am sure you may have heard of the word “integer” from mathematics. When you say something is either an integer or a whole number it means that once you have that thing, you have it all, there is nothing more to have. Likewise, when you see a fraction of a thing, life one-?ifth of a whole, it means that you are yet to see four-?ifth of the whole. Therefore, seeing a fraction of a thing means you have not seen it all. Following God fully or wholly simply means that nothing, no matter the circumstance, should change or affect the relationship you have with God. A famine situation tests the depth of your revelation,

going to learn some things about the spirit of Caleb and his attitude that helped him to get into the Promised Land.
Caleb Wholly Followed God 8 “Nevertheless my brethren who went up with me made the heart of the people melt, but I wholly followed the Lord my God.” Joshua 14:8
As we read earlier in Numbers 14, Caleb fully followed the Lord. Then again, in Joshua 14, Caleb testi?ied that he wholly followed the Lord his God. Now, if God is careful to state that Caleb followed Him wholly that means some who follow God do not do it wholly and completely; they have a fraction approach to God and the things of the kingdom.
Caleb Was Against Any Form Of Rebellion 9 Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” Numbers 14:9
If you want to enter into the Promised Land and receive that inheritance you are trusting God for, you have got to cultivate an attitude that is against any form of rebellion. Rebellion refers to the action or process of resisting authority, control, or convention. Rebellion also means wilfully doing anything that goes contrary to the Word of God, like when your actions and words challenge the authority of God’s Word. Caleb understood this and that was why he
