The year 2020 is a very pivotal year and it has become so clear to us in The Carpenter’s Ministry. God had been preparing us for this year 2020 for some years now and looking back, we can now see that we are at that point where He has been preparing us for. God told us that He was big in us and we saw it. He showed us abundant resources pouring out from open heavens and taught us how to live life under those open heavens. Then, He came with the force of the shift and began to pressure us and moved us in the new day to begin to see things we didn’t even imagine we could see. It seemed like we were being pressured, stretched, drawn wide but we got bigger and bigger. God was bringing about a shift in our mindset because of what was ahead of us beginning from 2020. Our mindset needed to change for us to be able to step into the things ahead of us. So, God began to get us ready for this threshold we are in now.

Therefore, you need to understand that this year is a major year for us as a ministry and also for you because you are connected to this ministry.

In 1990, The Carpenter’s Church was founded and will turn thirty this year. Thirty is a very signiLicant year in the Scripture and it is also tied to what God has in store for us. You might ask, “What is so signiLicant and special about thirty?” Let us look at certain witnesses in the Bible and see some signiLicant and major changes that happened in the destinies of these people when they turned thirty.

Joseph’s Witness 14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.

15 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it”.

16 So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace”.

Genesis 41:14–16 46 Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

The Bible tells us in the Scripture above that Pharaoh sent for Joseph to be brought to him quickly out of the dungeon, and Joseph shaved which is symbolic of a mindset change. He also changed his clothing before going to see Pharaoh. Joseph was in prison, in a place of obscurity. He was unknown in prison but when the time came; when he turned thirty, he began to rule the world and he stepped into his destiny at that time.

The Priests’ Witness 4 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: 2 “Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the children of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ house, 3 from thirty years old and above, even to Lifty years old, all who enter the service to do the work in the tabernacle of meeting.

4 “This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of meeting, relating to the most holy things: Numbers 4:1-4

The group of priests at that time could not begin to serve in the holy temple until they turned thirty. They were to wait until they were thirty and when they Linally turned thirty, the Bible says that they were entrusted with holy things. The kind of things God is going to entrust into your hands, you couldn’t have handled before this time. Now that you are mature, God is ready to entrust you with holy things; things that are special to Him, things that are His heartbeat because you have proved Him faithful, and He has proved you faithful in the very little things.

Ezekiel’s Witness 1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the Lifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. Ezekiel 1:1

Ezekiel stepped into his prophetic ofLice when he turned thirty.

The heavens were opened unto him and he began to see visions.

Where was he before? Just like Joseph, he was in the midst of captivity and nobody knew him. Nobody knew what he carried but when the time came, he stepped into his ofLice and into his purpose in the nation.

David’s Witness 4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.

The Scripture says that solid food or strong meat belong to those who are of full age. Those who by reason of use have had their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Maturity is that state of full development, of ripeness and due season. Due season is kairos season. A kairos season has nothing to do with chronos time. It doesn’t matter how much time you feel has gone in your life, kairos or due season is a season of opportunities. Due season is here because in 2020, there will be opportunities for you from the north, south and from all over the world because it is for a time such as this that you were born. That is what maturity brings.

A season of opportunities and maturity has been at the very core of The Carpenter’s Church. One of our threefold vision is maturing the saints through the systematic teaching of the Word of God and we have been doing that for thirty years. You are the Lirst fruit of that maturity and labour of years of teaching the undiluted Word of God, and getting people

Jesus’ Witness 23 Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son of Heli,

He was just a carpenter’s son but at the age of thirty, he transitioned from being a carpenter’s son to being the Messiah, the Saviour, the

That same transition that took a Carpenter to become the Messiah; a shepherd boy to become king; a man in prison to become the answer to Pharaoh, that same transition is here and now. You know it because you are mature, you no longer play childish games and you understand the dreams that God has placed in your hands and what He has called you to do. You

advocate seated even right now at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. When you know you carry something but you know it is not yet time, just like David,

understand that the world is full of pharaohs with dreams that need to be interpreted. You understand that the kingdom needs a king and the nation needs a voice. You understand that

Joseph, the priests, Jesus and other examples in the Bible, there was a time to wait until it was time and that time is now.

prophets are needed in the land. You understand that abundance and wealth are needed for the kingdom to go forward. You understand the purpose of money and why God has given you abundant resources. You understand these things

Maturity The signiLicance of the age of thirty is that it is the age of maturity and it is symbolic of full age.

because there had been a shift in your mindset over the years and God has prepared you for a time such as this.
