THE CANCER FOUNDATION INVITES YOUR SUPPORT FOR
OUR EVENT SERIES IN 2021!
We plan to produce two events that will unite the community in fighting the financial burden of cancer in northeast Georgia. Families struggling under the weight of cancer bills benefit from The Cancer Foundation's Financial Assistance Program. Who is eligible? We serve cancer patients in treatment or hospice living in any of the 25 counties served by TCF in northeast Georgia who meet our income guidelines. The average family served made just $17,400 in 2020. How does TCF help cancer patients? We pay for basic life needs as well as expenses unique to cancer treatment. Patients may choose from a list of financial interventions so our support is custom-made to address their concerns. Options include: Housing support such as rent and mortgage payments Utility bills such as power, water, natural gas and propane Transportation needs such as fuel, bus passes and Uber gift cards Medication, pharmacy co-pays, medical equipment and supplies Nutritional support in the form of Ensure, Boost and Jevity SINCE 2009, WE HAVE PROVIDED OVER $2.5 MILLION IN FINANCIAL
