BEYOND THE BATTLE BRUNCH

was a resounding success. Nearly 200 patients and caregivers enjoyed a delightful brunch while engaging in heartfelt conversations with TCF staff, vendors, and others traveling the cancer journey Inspiring speakers included David Bradley, President & CEO of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce; Jeff Dantzler, an awardwinning broadcaster, speaker, writer, and media personality who serves in various capacities, primarily for the University of Georgia; and keynote speaker Andrea Griffith Girtz, a former television news anchor and media executive who now leads her own communication firm. They shared their personal journeys, motivating others to embrace their own battles with courage and hope The brunch was a powerful expression of the strength found in community, the importance of supporting one another, and a reminder that no one travels this journey alone
