SUNNY SIA

NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF

Creativity comes easily when food is the star and flavours are in full bloom. I love all things food and wine and am excited to share my experience in days to come.

Chef Sunny Sia

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Sunny Sia as the Club’s new Executive Chef who commenced work with the Club on 6 January 2014. Chef Sunny, married with 3 children, is effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin. He started his career in 1989, holding Executive Chef position in various hospitality related organisations internationally including, Stamford Plaza in Sydney, Australia, Millenium & Copthorne in London, UK, Orchard Hotel, Singapore, M Hotel, Singapore, with his most recent posting in Stamford Hotel & Resort in Sydney, Australia. To him, the greatest gift in life is being able to cook as he believes that every meal is a celebration and feels fortunate that he could spend his days creating delicious and creative dishes in the kitchen and sharing a foodfilled life with everyone. He feels honoured that as the Executive Chef of British Club, he will be serving Members who treat the Club as a second home and dine often here compared to his past experiences working in hotels where most guests come and go. It is a challenge he is looking forward to and the satisfaction when Members enjoy the fruits of his labour. He looks forward to creating spectacular food offering and taking the Club’s culinary scene to a whole new level.

I feel that Sunny with his lifetime experience in culinary, will bring his love of food to the Club. I wish him every success.
