from the claypot section – simply tasty and delicious. I filled a plate with prawns and pork steak too and watched the chef in action at the live cooking station. The prawns with black pepper were amazing and the pork steak seasoned with ginger tasted refreshing and delicious. Feeling full at this point, I refused to give up – though I skipped a few sections such as the appetizer and noodles section, after all this next one was what we really went there for – yes, the dim sum section. Starting with my all time favorites such as Siew Mai, prawn dumplings, steamed chicken feet and steamed pork ribs which were finished in a second. I could already say that Table8 dim sums are not only tasty but made from the best quality ingredients. My new favorite was deep fried sweet potato sesame ball of which I couldn’t get enough. Though tempted to try all varieties of the great looking desserts and sorbets lined up, we were happy enough to end our journey with a mango pudding which was delicious with a refreshing frozen yoghurt topped with fresh fruit. With a capacity between 120 – 140 pax, Table8 offers a beautiful ambiance for authentic Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine dining for the whole family – not to mention their signature fortune toss of Yu Sheng and Traditional Nian Gao you would want to experience too.
