ur lunch buffet at Table8 was by far the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever experienced and I’m not only talking about the various Cantonese & Szechuan food classics, everything involved from start to finish was one unbeatable feast and journey into Chinese cuisine. The minute you arrive in the restaurant, the whole resort athmospere shifts – I suddenly felt like I was in some kind of Chinese royal palace’s grand setting, especially since we started off our feast with quite an extraordinary way of drinking tea. Our exclusive Xuangxie tea served unlike any other – The Tea Master, with his exceptionally long spouted tea kettle performed quite an incredibly entertaining kung fu ritual while pouring hot water into the cup where a blended bundle of green tea, red tea and jazmine slowly flourishes into a flower as it bloomed – making a beautiful, subtle tea for me to enjoy. While the tea gave the experience a spectacular start, it took me a while to decide where to start with the food sections. Finally I opted to start filling up my plate with roasted pork and poached chicken as well as ordering sapo pork steak with ginger and spring onion
