ABOUT THE CAST

Georgia State University | Perimeter College” is abbreviated
Christopher Bridges (Pythio) he/him is a year student at GSU|PC and is currently major. He wants to pursue music as full time career. He would like to thank mommy for supporting him through this He is honored to be chosen to this magical character. This production is his first college performance, and he's enjoying the whole Chris is so ecstatic for people to enjoy the show.

(Musidorus) he/him is a student at GSU|PC and is a theatre major in his sophomore year. Taye is originally from California, where he started his theatre path. He has a background in acapella assembly and previously appeared in the ensemble of The Wedding Singer. He was also the light board operator for the TAG production of Silent Sky. Taye would like to thank his theatre instructors throughout his acting journey.

Da’Nia Coates (Ensemble/Dance Coordinator) she/her is a theatre and music major at GSU|PC. She is currently a sophomore. Singing and playing the clarinet is what she is known for. Previous TAG credits include Bart Simpson in Mr. Burns, a post-electric play and sound board operator for . She has also taken classes at The Alliance Theatre. Whether it’s working on stage or off stage, it fills her heart with joy knowing that she’s doing whatever it takes to make sure you all enjoy your experience. Da’Nia would love to thank her mom, family, and friends for always showing love and supporting her.

*Marissa Francis (Gynecia) she/her is thankful to be in Head Over Heels. Her previous roles were in Tapas at the Academy Theatre and Big Fish at Act 1 Theater. She is originally from Queens, New York and has aspirations of becoming a performer as well as a screenwriter and playwright. She would like to shout out everyone who supports her and also everyone who comes out to see the show. She hopes that you have a great time!

Madeleine Harris (Philoclea/Ensemble) she/ her is a sophomore theatre major at GSU|PC. She has previously served as the vice-president as well as president of the Drama Club on Clarkston campus. She plans to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in theatre with a minor in writing. Previous TAG credits include: Marvel Spotlight Presents: Squirrel Girl Goes to College as the Assistant Stage Manager and The Minotaur as the House Manager. Head Over Heels is her first acting role on the Jennifer Jenkins stage. She sends a huge thank you to everyone who came to see the show and who participated in the production. She would also like to give a big shout out to her family and friends who support her on her journey as a student and performer.IG: @maddierumpy

Keith Kearney-Pelsey (Basilius) he/him is a graduating theatre major at GSU|PC. He made his TAG debut as a Real in the Marvel play Squirrel Girl goes to College. While in high school, he played Tony in West Side Story and Jack in Into The Woods. Since then, he has appeared on stage in many theatres, such as Lionheart and The Alliance. After graduation, he plans to become a performer. He would like to thank everyone at the college and in his life for giving him the best time.

Laura Smith (Pamela) she/her is an electrical engineering major with a background in optics and circuit design research. Laura is a music artist, aiming to pursue a professional career in music in tandem with her contributions to engineering. Smith is trained in contemporary, Shakespearean, Chekhovian, and musical theatre with workshop experience in scenes from plays such as The Flick, Henry VIII, City of Angels and more. She would like to thank the amazing faculty of the Fine Arts Department for this opportunity and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

Paris Stone (Philoclea/Ensemble) she/her is a music major at GSU|PC. She made her TAG debut in The Garden Cycle playing Miss Corine (2021). She has also been in multiple theatre productions before TAG such as The Color Purple as Celie and Into the Woods as The Witch. She also teaches music and voice at The Music Studio Atlanta. *Natt Tristan Taylor (Mopsa) she/they graduated with a BFA in Acting from LIU Post in 2022. Telling stories has always been a passion of hers, and she is so thankful to receive continuous support from her family, friends, and girlfriend! Head Over Heels has held a spot in her heart ever since she first saw it in 2018; she is thrilled and so grateful to finally participate in this wonderful show that showcases love and expression in such a fun, unique, and creative way.

*Samuel Vellines (Dametas) he/him is a music education major at GSU|PC. In his time at Dekalb School of the Arts he was a member of the High Lite show choir and performed in multiple student-written one act plays. He was raised in a very music-oriented household and remained involved in chorus into adulthood. Sam would like his high school show choir director, Jeff Funderburk; his mother, Karol Eubanks Vellines; and father, Steve Vellines.

Gracie Whitney (Ensemble) she/her is a senior at GSU studying theatre and English literature. She made her TAG debut as Ariadne in The Minotaur. She followed up this performance as Maria/Itchy in Mr. Burns, a post-electric play. Gracie would like to thank her friends and family for their support. And she hopes you enjoy the show!

J. Ashley Butler (Graphic Artist) she/her is a theatre artist serving on the faculty of Auburn University’s Department of Theatre and Dance and formerly on the faculty at Georgia State’s Perimeter College. Throughout her career she has worked as an educator, performer (actor/dancer/singer), director, dramaturg, and choreographer. Ashley is also a creative director and graphic designer specializing in performing arts marketing. She holds an MFA from Ohio University and a BFA from Auburn University, both in acting.
Lindsay M. Bytof (Hair and Make-up Design) she/her is a Senior Lecturer in theatre at GSU|PC. She proudly holds an M.F.A. in acting from Florida State University Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training and an M.A. in applied theatre from University of London, Goldsmiths College. Since 2017 in addition to hair and makeup design, she has directed and acted as dialect coach, casting associate, house manager, and intimacy coordinator with Theatre Arts Guild on upwards of a dozen productions. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Dyanna Cosby (Stage Manager) she/her is a sophomore theatre major at GSU|PC. She is training to become a professional actor. This is the fourth production Dyanna has been a part of with TAG, and she is planning to graduate in the spring of 2025. She would like to thank her family for their love and support; Sunny, Dr. Robertson, and Aaron for guiding her as stage manager, and everyone at Theatre Arts Guild for making this possible.
Karl Dickey (Scene Shop Supervisor) he/him is a scenic design and technical direction graduate student at the University of South Carolina. Karl is excited to be back in Atlanta, where he received his BA from Oglethorpe University. He has built, painted, and designed for Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity Theatre, Theatre Burford, Aurora Theatre, Serenbe playhouse and numerous independent projects in Georgia, South Carolina, and Arizona.
Aaron Gotlieb (Projections and Props Design) he/him returned to Atlanta a 'Complete Fool' after completing his MFA in Physical and Devised Theatre at Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. In addition to creating, directing, and performing in his own work, he has been performing and building props at theatres across Atlanta and the Southeast for over a decade. Currently, he is the Technical Theatre Specialist at GSU|PC.
Jillian Haughey (Audio Engineer) she/her is a GSU|PC alumna. She is thankful to have had such wonderful mentors from her time here. Jillian's sound designs with TAG include Much Ado About Nothing, The Minotaur, Mr. Burns, a post-electric play, & prop design for SGGTC. Her prop designs have been seen at Aurora Theatre, Serenbe Playhouse, Synchronicity Theatre, and Theatrical Outfit's Summer Stage. She would like to thank her family for their love and support.
James Hennessey (Technical Director) he/him has been with the Fine Arts department for five years. After graduating with a B.A. in theatre from Winthrop University, he moved to Atlanta to begin his technical theatre career, where he worked as a general technician with a focus in carpentry, rigging, run-crew, and technical direction before finding his current home at GSU|PC.
Nancye Hilley (Costume Designer) she/her is a GSU|PC alumna and has been costuming since the mid 1980’s. Her designs have been seen at the Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Theatrical Outfit, Horizon Theatre, Essential Theatre, and more. With TAG, Nancye has designed many shows including Intimate Apparel, Nunsense, The Secret Garden, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and many more. Awards include the 2015 MAT award in costuming and the 2017 MAT for Best Costume.
*Emmanuela Lops (Hair and Make-up Assistant) she/her is a GSU freshman from Cobb County where she attended South Cobb High School. She is a professional makeup artist with onset and runway experience. She has worked at New York Fashion Week and New Orleans Fashion Week Couture Shows, assisted on set at CNBC New Orleans, and is a Powder Group Member. She is majoring in Economics and hopes to one day become a successful business owner and investor. She is the founder of the blog YourNextDoorPhora.com. IG: lesli.lesli
Sally J. Robertson (Director) she/her has been working as a professional actor, director, and sound designer for over 30 years. A few of her directing credits include Much Ado About Nothing for the New American Shakespeare Tavern, A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Soul-stice Repertory and Dreams of Martha Stewart at the 1998 Piccolo Spoleto Theatre Festival. She has been directing with TAG for more than 25 years. Some of the more memorable credits here include Once on This Island, Jekyll & Hyde, Scapin, Arcadia, Medea, Sealed For Freshness, Theory of Relativity, Copenhagen, and Mr. Burns: a post electric play. She is Professor of Theatre and Fine Arts Department Chair.
Sophia Nino Ticozzi (Media Operator) she/her is a professional dancer and aspiring actress currently studying Theatre at GSU|PC. Sophia aims to blend her passion for theatre and dance by working in film and commercials. Additionally, she has a keen interest in the behind-the-scenes aspects of theatre, particularly makeup and hair. She currently enjoys going to GSU|PC & plans to transfer to GSU’s Atlanta campus to further advance her studies in the art of theatre. IG: sophianino.t
Keith Walker (Music Director) holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of MissouriColumbia, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Augusta University. Keith is currently the Director of Music Ministries at Northside Drive Baptist Church, and is the Music Director of the Festival Singers of Atlanta. Since January 2022, he has served as the conductor of the Perimeter College Chorus on the Clarkston Campus of Georgia State University.
Sunny Vidrine (Production Manager) she/her has been producing and participating in theatre for over 25 years. She holds a BA in theatre and an MEd in secondary English education, both from UGA. As a professional theatre technician, she worked in the costume department of several Broadway shows and touring companies. She is also a former theatre educator and is a current board member for the Georgia chapter of the International Thespian Society. She would like to thank her family for always supporting and believing in her, especially Daniel and Harrison.

Theatre Arts Guild is dedicated to enhancing the educational development of the Perimeter College, Georgia State University student through theatrical productions which demonstrate an understanding of the importance of the arts in the human experience. To achieve these goals, Theatre Arts Guild produces a wide range of theatrical genres from classical to contemporary theatre and provides opportunities to experience a theatrical environment of professional standards involving the Atlanta Theatre Community.
For over 50 years, the Department of Fine Arts at the Clarkston campus of GSU has a history of offering an Associate of Arts Degree in Theatre, with classes in acting, directing, technical theatre and dance.
