Back-to-School Weight Management
Olfactorily speaking, the smell of newly sharpened pencils is frequently associated with the month of September, when children head back to school to further their education. ReAssure SP: Not Just For Men
Even though AIM has traditionally promoted ReAssure SP as a natural health product that supports the prostate health of men, the product datasheet has always included the question, “Can ReAssure SP benefit women as well? ” The answer is “ Yes!”

Chrononutrition: Is Timing Everything?
The history of studying our internal biological clocks began nearly 300 years ago.1 Chronobiology is the science behind this “timepiece” that examines how the rhythms of the seasons, sun and moon affect the natural cycles of our bodies: circadian rhythm.
It is quite fascinating how our cellular processes interact, producing daily rhythms in both how we behave and how our bodies feel. Increasing this knowledge offers the transformative potential of a holistic approach to studying our biological systems to further understand cellular networks and improve human health.
Digging deeper, there’s an emerging field involving our biological clocks called chrononutrition, which examines how the timing of when we eat our meals affects our health and well-being.2 As a specific example, eating a big breakfast, a small lunch and an even smaller dinner turns out to be better for weight loss, hunger suppression and metabolism than the other way around.
A 12-week study of 93 overweight and obese females divided them into two different dietary groups that committed to daily meal intakes of:
1) a 700-calorie breakfast, a 500-calorie lunch and a 200-calorie dinner.
2) a 200-calorie breakfast, a 500-calorie lunch and a 700-calorie dinner.
At the end of 3 months, the bigger breakfast group lost double the amount of weight—19 pounds compared to 8—and trimmed their waistlines by an extra 2 inches.3
It simply makes sense that if you eat a big breakfast, you spend the rest of the day burning off those calories.
On the other hand, if you eat a big dinner, you are not as active afterward and then it’s time for bed. Timing may be everything when it comes to meals for weight loss and overall good health: chrononutrition.
