The AIM Companies has exciting news to share!

IM officially launched a fresh new brand identity on June 22, 2019 at the AIM BIG Celebration in Orlando, Florida. The new logo was designed with the composition of two minimalistic leaves to form a lowercase ‘a.’ Our brand colors are primarily shades of green that embody both nature and health. It was our goal in this project to establish our brand as one that embodies naturalness, freshness and happiness. We feel that our new brand identity succeeds in achieving this objective, in a fresh new look!

As the AIM family continues to grow and we expand our areas of focus and product experiences, we want our brand identity to best reflect who we are, what we believe in and where we are headed. Just as people and companies develop, so do brands.

For over 37 years, our brand has grown through highquality, wholesome products, a unique culture, and an invaluable opportunity. It all began with our green barley powder now called BarleyLife, which is still to this day our flagship product. Such endurance demonstrates AIM’s ability to stay true to our values and where we come from, but to also embrace the future. It is for this reason that we chose two blades of barley grass as our new logo: to represent our roots and the product that started it all. We modernized the design of the blades, shaping them into what is now an “a” for AIM.

As we begin our new branding rollout, keep a look out for fresh new brand colors, as well as clean new product labels along with a new website launch.

While we never forget our roots and core values, we are excited to take this bold step into AIM’s future with a new logo and visual identity designed by branding experts. This marks a new chapter in AIM’s mission that is best described as ‘innovative.’ It is our goal to ensure that AIM remains relevant and at the forefront, continuing to improve people’s lives through health and free enterprise.

What is Bear Paw garlic?

Bear Paw garlic is also known as wild garlic and differs from our common garlic that we use for cooking and food preparation. Wild garlic is Allium ursinum as opposed to common household garlic which is Allium sativum. The Latin name for wild garlic is derived from the Latin name for bear (ursus) and the Brown Bear’s particular taste for these plants, especially as they emerge from hibernation.

According to folklore, the bears use the wild garlic as a means of detoxification after the long winter hibernation, ridding the body of excess toxins. The leaves of wild garlic are also edible and it is widely distributed throughout Europe and Asia.

Medicinal Uses for Bear Paw Garlic Western herbal medicine traditionally uses wild garlic as a digestive stimulant, antimicrobial agent, helps to remove toxins from the body and helps with cardiovascular diseases. It was also commonly used to treat respiratory problems such as the common cold and bronchitis. It has also been used in wound healing and chronic skin disorders such as acne. When I was practising herbal medicine in London we used to use a garlic and onion syrup as a bronchodilator and cold medicine.

Clinical trials have shown the value of certain extracts (phytosterols) in helping with blood clotting. The active compounds in the wild garlic were identified and they were also found to have an anti-inflammatory action.

Other experiments by Sobolewska et al (2013) have shown a cholesterol synthesis

inhibiting effect (chloroform extracts) thereby reducing blood cholesterol concentrations. The antimicrobial effects of wild garlic has also been well documented.

It was shown to inhibit the growth of the following bacteria and fungi: Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella enteritidis, and fungi: Cladosporium sp., Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus nigricans, Geotrichum candidum, Penicillium expansum, Candida lipolytica, Mycoderma, Saccharomycopsis fibuligera (Synowiec et al. 2010).

The presence of certain flavonoids and carotenoids in wild garlic explains the strong anti-oxidant activity that was also demonstrated in this study.

In practice my colleagues and I have proved that eating generous quantities of garlic the night before our regular Sunday walk slowed the heart rate and blood pressure by about 10 points each. So whilst this form of garlic was the common one, it can be safely concluded that the active components of Bear Paw Garlic would have had a similar, if not stronger effect on these same individuals. Reassuring evidence in the face of so many practitioners prescribing

hypotensive medications (lowering of blood pressure) and statins (to lower blood cholesterol levels) when food can produce the same result without all the adverse side effects of the drugs. Specific compounds in wild garlic activate the white blood cells to reduce the synthesis of LDL-cholesterol, which is more commonly known as the ‘bad’ cholesterol. This action helps to prevent formation of plaque and break away clots in the blood vessels.

One of the most redeeming features of wild garlic is the absence of that distinctive and offensive odour (to some) in the breath after ingestion. This is because the leaves rather than the bulb of wild garlic are used. The leaves contain low concentrations of the sulphur-containing compounds that give the odour and large amounts of chlorophyll, which helps to prevent the smell associated with the enzymatic breakdown of garlic during digestion.

It is therefore no surprise that wild garlic was named the medicinal “Plant of the Year” by the Association for Protection and Research on European Medicinal Plants

and was dubbed the “new star” of garlic.

All the naturally occurring compounds in wild garlic are far superior to those found in cultivated species commonly used for culinary purposes.

Conclusion In summary, the main motivation for taking AIM Bear Paw Garlic would be to help improve the health of the entire cardiovascular system (heart and blood vessels) and therefore endeavour to prevent the deleterious effects of atherosclerosis (thickening of the walls of the blood vessels). Clearly, lifestyle and diet are crucial in this equation. Prevention of heart attacks and stroke cannot be achieved through medication and/or supplementation alone.

Making dietary changes such as avoiding saturated fats (animal fats), increasing the intake of good fats such as avocados, olive oil (extra virgin), essential fatty acids (AIMega), eating more fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines), raw nuts and seeds and ensuring a minimum of 150 minutes of exercise per week is fundamental to overall cardiovascular health.

My passion for health and nutrition started the day my children were born. I was a very concerned mom and ran to the doctor for even the slightest fever. I soon realized that kids are going to get sick and the only way the doctor is going to help, is by prescribing antibiotics.

This was definitely not the advice I needed to hear because I didn’t want them to get sick in the first place. This brought me to a place where I started to do my own research. My mission was to empower their little bodies with a SUPER POWERFUL IMMUNE system. At that stage I had not been introduced to the AIM products yet so I was always wandering around in health shops looking for the best combination of everything their little bodies needed.

After I was introduced to the AIM products through Joan van Rensburg a whole new chapter started for me. I started to see the body as a whole and I started to understand how everything works synergistically. The gut brain connection, the role stress plays and also how important it is to keep your body alkaline were areas that I took a lot of interest in.

Through the AIM products and God’s grace both Lothar and Esther haven’t been to a doctor for more than 5 years now. We have also managed to control Esther’s digestion issues and we are experiencing amazing breakthroughs in her learning abilities on a daily basis. The Finn Family’s

Miracle

Sometimes a mother’s instinct works wonders. Such is the case with Tamara Finn, an AIM Wholesale Member in Moraine, Ohio. If it weren’t for Tamara’s enduring faith and motherly intuition, her son, Richard, would most likely not be alive today. Even when doctors gave her a “do it or he will die” ultimatum, Tamara had other ideas.

“Back in June 2010,” Tamara related, “Richard noticed a pea-sized lump in his groin, so he went to our family doctor, who gave him antibiotics and pain medicine as well as ultrasound that showed he had a hydrocele, causing fluid buildup in the scrotum. Three months went by with several visits to doctors, but he wasn’t getting any better, and the lump continued to get bigger. Richard went to a urologist and had blood work and more tests done that only confirmed the initial diagnosis.”

In the meantime, Tamara had begun doing research because Richard was getting sicker and sicker. “His feet would turn purple,” Tamara stated. “He was so pale and had little energy. And the lump was growing so large that Richard couldn’t even wear jeans to work, only sweat pants.” It was Richard’s father who had been monitoring the growth of this mass.

It would later reveal that he had cancerous growths throughout the skeletal muscles in his body, including lesions on all of his bones and a 6 cm mass pressing on the aorta and his lungs, which explained the discoloring in his feet from poor circulation. Richard had one of the rarest types of adult cancer: embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. Their family doctor and a urologist had totally misdiagnosed his condition.

“Richard was hospitalized for around two months,” Tamara stated, “and given chemotherapy that made him increasingly sick.

And they were feeding him snacks of cookies, cupcakes and ice cream. I told them they were actually feeding the cancer with sugar. They asked me how I knew this, and I replied ‘I’m not stupid. I did the research.’

And I made them stop.”

The situation continued for months and by December, Richard was suffering horribly.

His doctors wanted to do more tests but not until January 2011. “That’s when I had enough,” Tamara exclaimed. On Christmas Eve, they took him to the hospital. “It was in the emergency room that I first saw his tumor by accident. By then, it was the size of a small basketball.”

Tamara began bringing wholesome food to the hospital. Through their church, Tamara had met AIM Star Sapphire Director Cindy Ponchot, who told Tamara about her own successful battle against cancer using AIM nutrition. With the help of some fund-raisers, Tamara was able to purchase high-quality organic food and AIM supplements for Richard. “Of course, when I told the doctors about AIM nutrition, they said it wouldn’t help,” Tamara noted.

“The doctors had originally told us that Richard would live for only a month, but with chemotherapy and radiation, maybe six months.” But Tamara told her husband, “Richard’s not going to die. He’s going to be a miracle. So don’t worry.”

After a heart-to-heart talk with Richard, Tamara, her husband, family and friends all supported his decision to stop chemotherapy. “I still had an overwhelming feeling that he was going to be a miracle but was still scared to death as any mother would be,” Tamara said.

The doctors disagreed, noting in Richard’s medical chart that by them refusing to continue with chemo or radiation, Richard was going to die. She angrily told them to never say this to her son, and that they were not God and only He would decide the fate of Richard.

What Is Low Vision?

Low vision is when a person has difficulty seeing even when wearing glasses, contacts lens or after having eye surgery. It affects one out of six adults over age 45 and one out of four adults over age 75. Low vision can be caused by conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma.

Prevention Nutritional intake plays a major role in preventing diseases, and this includes conditions that affect vision. Consider Nelson Mandela, Richard Branson, Henry Ford, Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi, to name a few, they had little to no money, no technology, they had passion, perseverance and they made “a choice” Dreaming big, doing something risky or bold, going after something extraordinary while being challenged starts with a choice.

This creates momentum that generates unwavering purpose, maintenance of energy and all of this materializes when a choice is made.

Whether in a Blue Chip corporation, a Networking business, big, medium or small businesses, a local non-profit, or a family the primary influencing force remains choice.

We cannot control circumstances, people or the economy, choices are the definitive force that influences the quality of our lives.

It is not our conditions but our decisions that control or change our life positively or negatively. They influence our destinies, the secret here is becoming conscious of our choices, they are made based on our values, either on what we want – our desires or what we don’t want - our fears.

It was the main product that I learned about and remember about this event because Chairman’s Club Director Edna Smith spoke about how CWR helped her with migraine headaches.

About that time, I was having severe migraines, so every time I had an attack, I had a warm bath with two ounces of CWR added. It helped to get rid of my migraine headaches.

Then I noticed that in the wintertime, when I felt that I was coming down with a cold or the flu, having a CWR bath alleviated further symptoms.

CWR also helps to relieve fatigue. Recently, I ended up walking and workingtoo much, so my muscles were totally fatigued. A 40-minute bath using CWR took care of that, almost making me forget what I had been through that day.

When I don’t have the time for a bath, I use the Mag-nificence body spray. Whenever I sprain an ankle, hurt my arm, have muscle spasms, cramps or neck pain, I spray it on the sore area and get quick relief. You Should Know About Bilberries and 1. Among the many kinds of berries,

It first gained popularity in 16th century Europe when herbalists began using it for a variety of ailments. Nonetheless, it was somewhat unknown until World War II, when American and British pilots consuming bilberry jam felt it improved their night vision.

How to CELL Succeed FOOD You will earn contest points by doing one or more of the following business and Member growth activities during the contest period: 1. New Member Points – for each new Member you personally sponsor with a minimum order of 65 BVP, you (the sponsor) earn 20% of the first order’s BVP in contest points. Contest Rules 1. All AIM Members worldwide are automatically enrolled in the “Clear 2020 Vision” international contest, which runs from June 1 through December 31, 2019. Members who wish to opt out of participating may contact AIM at 011 675 0477.

2. You are eligible to begin accruing contest points in June 2019 or the month in the contest in which you sign up as an AIM Member. To be eligible to earn monthly contest points during the contest period, you must place a qualifying order each month at your current title in the AIM Member Income Plan.

3. Only activities that occur during the contest period (1 June to 31 Dec 2019) are counted. The minimum contest points to qualify for a package are 450 contest points.

4. Only activity by your eligible first-level downline counts for you in the contest. The first order placed by your firstlevel Member must have a minimum of 65 BVP to qualify for contest points. Subsequent orders can be of any BVP amount. Maximum contest points that can be received on one order are 100 points.

5. You receive contest points only from your first-level Members who are below the title of Director when the contest starts (6/1/2019). If they become Directors during the contest, they will still count for your contest points.

6. To qualify you for the contest points, your first-level Member’s order must be paid for by and shipped to him or her. Third-Party Ordering, which is placing points on a membership other than your own, is not permitted during the contest period. Drop-ship orders to an alternative Member or address will not count in the contest.

7. Participation in this contest is one membership per household. No stacking of memberships is allowed. Violation

of rules or unethical manipulation of the contest can result in disqualification.

8. Prize monies. A Member must earn a minimum of 1,000 combined points from New Member and Promotion activities during the contest period to be eligible for prize monies.

Prize monies are non-transferrable and will be paid in the currency of the country of residence for your membership at the current commission exchange rate at the time of payment. Prize monies will be paid to winning Members with their January commissions, which will process for payment on February 10, 2020. AIM encourages Members to use their prize monies to help pay their travel or other expenses to attend the 2020 AIM Celebration.

9. Transfers. Contest prize packages and prize monies are NOT transferrable. If a Member chooses not to attend, they forfeit any earned Celebration package(s).

10. Members who wish their accrued contest points or contest standing be kept private (not published) need to let AIM know in writing by July 15, 2019.

11. Taxes. The value of any prize monies awarded is taxable, as is the value of any Celebration package earned if it is used. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to file the proper tax forms.

12. Auto-Pay and Registration. Members receive 10% off a full Celebration package by enrolling in the monthly automatic payment plan by August 31, 2019, or by paying for their full package by March 18, 2020. The Celebration registration deadline is April 8, 2020.

13. Cancellation fees - In the event that you book for the Celebration and cancel, you will be held liable for the penalty fee. Should you refuse to pay, the fee will be deducted from your rebate.
