FROM THE MANAGER’S DESK by Rose

Heading into the winter months we should reflect on all the positive things that we have been blessed with. I am looking forward to meeting those I have not met; I believe if you are always focusing on the negative you will get negative results. Please, if you have a valid issue always bring it to me and we will try to resolve the issue, taking it upon yourself to complain to everyone about something is not the way to resolve anything. Let’s be Thankful for what we do have, as a lot of people in East Coast lost everything.

So, please let’s have a great time this season helping one another and enjoying Rock Shadows Resort.

Gospel Fellowship welcomes everyone to a new season at Rock Shadows RV Resort. We will begin our weekly Christian non-denominational worship service on November 3, 2024. We will be in the Community Center with worship beginning at 8:30 am and it will be followed by coffee and treats.

The service will be opened by one of our worship leaders and will include a mix of praise music and traditional hymns. The message will be delivered by Chris Baker, pastor at First Baptist Church of Apache Junction. His method is to share a message from the bible, walking through passages of Scripture verse by verse, considering their context and their applications for lives today. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy learning more about the Bible while having fellowship with your Rock Shadows friends and neighbors. Maybe even meet someone new.

Sudoku NOVEMBER

Rules: The rules for sudoku are simple. A 9×9 square must be filled in with numbers from 1-9 with no repeated numbers in each line, horizontally or vertically.

Hello Residents! As we welcome November and hopefully the crisp chill of fall, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what we are thankful for. The month of November is a special reminder to pause, take stock of the blessings we often take for granted, and express our gratitude for the people and moments that bring meaning to our lives. Whether it’s the warmth of family gatherings, the friendships that make us smile, or the simple joys in our daily routines, there’s so much to appreciate as we head into the holiday season.

This November let’s celebrate the holiday season by spreading kindness and appreciation. Be thankful for what we have and take time to lift each other up. Whether through small gestures of kindness or grand expressions of love, let’s continue to cherish the people in our lives and all the beautiful moments we share. Here’s to a season filled with gratitude, togetherness, and the joy that comes with it!

So thankful for each of you, Kim Kelley Rock Shadows Activities Director

MAKING MEMORIES AT ROCK SHADOWS

Happy times come and go, but the memories stay forever. Enjoy our collection of photos featuring Rock Shadows events and residents!

National Taco Day - We celebrated National Taco Day in style. We served carne asada tacos with all the toppings. I love it when we can all get together and just hang out to enjoy good food and good company. It means so much to me seeing everyone enjoy themselves.

National Professional Cleaner Day - No one top’s Bri when it comes to the Queen of Clean! Not only does she keep our park beautiful, but she is also the first one to jump in and help every single person around her. I personally could not do what I do for Activities without her help. Bri is one of the sweetest, thoughtful, and caring pe0rson I have ever met. This special day was to celebrate her and all she does for all of us! Every resident loves her and so do I. Love you girl!!!

Rock Shadows Crafts - Here at Rock Shadows we enjoy our crafts. We made the cutest little ghost and adorable table toppers for the spooky season. We all had so much fun even with all the hot glue on most of our fingers!

Sales Team Happy Hour - Another amazing time at our monthly Sales Team Happy Hour! We served a bountiful baked potato bar. RJ and the Band were amazing and our residents paid tribute for lives lost on September 11, 2001.
