Merry Christmas!
As the holiday season hits full swing, I just want to wish everyone the absolute best from the bottom of my heart. It has been a pleasure representing the fine people of this community. Let’s try our best to spread Christmas cheer throughout the community and check on friends and neighbors often. Let’s try and honor the 10mph speed limit. We don’t want to run over any reindeer or residents. If the weather starts to get cool, make sure to inspect your heaters. I recommend having a professional come out and give them a cleaning and inspection. Stay safe and have an Amazing Christmas!
Cheers!

Welcome Back
We celebrated the return of many of our winter visitors at our carnival themed Welcome Back Party in November, featuring the band Flashback Cadillac. There was fun food that you would find at a carnival, photo ops, a magician, a stilt walker, a clown, and a caricature artist, along with a few vendors with some great gifts and information.

Our Halloween party featured the band Swagger, and a Halloween costume contest. It was so much fun to see the creativity of many of the costumes, unfortunately there could only be three winners.

We honored our veterans with a wonderful lunch as they were joined by their spouses and friends. The Benjamin Franklin Charter School – Queen Creek Band of 45 played an array of patriotic songs, as well as some all-time favorites. You could feel the love and energy in the air as everyone enjoyed the event.

(Formerly known as “Sleep in Heavenly Peace”)
Our weekly meetings are held 10:00 am - 3:00 pm in the Copper Room.
THE BAG PEOPLE knit, crochet and weave sleeping mats for A.J.'s unhoused people.
Helpers come and go throughout the day.
You do not need to commit to the full 5 hours!!
Many folks pop in for supplies and choose to work from home.
No matter your talents or abilities, there is a special place waiting just for you.
Put your heart and your hands to making a difference in someone's life.
Looking forward to seeing everyone for a delightful, positive, and productive season!

TUESDAY December 16th @11:30am

When we got down here from Michigan this past fall, my

Let me tell you my story: I suffered with neuropathy for over 8 who has suffered with neuropathy for years walked across the street to welcome us back. The amazing thing was, she walked over without her walker. I asked her what she had done, and she walked back to her house and came back with a card for the doctor she had seen after we left last year. I gave his office a call to make an appointment, it was on a Thursday, his office was closed, but the doctor answered the phone. He explained he would like me to attend one of his free workshops before coming in, it would answer all questions and if I still wanted to come in, I could make an appointment then. His workshop was informative, he explained things unlike any doctor I had seen up to that time, how neuropathy started, what is done for most people, why he does what he does. I was mostly impressed that he was straight forward, told the pros and cons. I’ll bet 85 to 90 percent of the other patients I talked to in his office were getting good results, like I did. My pain decreased by at least 50% in the first 3 weeks. I would highly recommend anyone with peripheral neuropathy, go to this workshop, I know you will be glad you did. Harold
