The undergraduate programs are crafted to offer elective focus in ten major areas of computing delivering a research-led, experience-based, career-oriented, and stimulating learning environment to produce industry leaders, researchers, and entrepreneurs. Apart from this, department runs postgraduate programs with ever-growing focus on research resulting in many top-level publications by the faculty members. The department is situated in new learning block at Thapa Institute, exhibiting state-of-the-art lab/research infrastructure. This infrastructure houses 27 undergraduate/postgraduate laboratories, 15 research/doctoral student labs and a data center; leading to more incubations, creative ideations and computing professionals coming out of the portals of CSE department. The programs are ISO Certified, NBA (National Board of Accreditation) & ABET.
