Introduction The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in 1975. For the past 44 years, the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has been catering to produce quality professionals who are able to compete globally and excel by carrying out basic and applied research in emerging areas by forging strong industry-institute interaction.

Scope Electronics engineers find job openings in many domains such as Network Engineering, Aeronautics Electronics Systems, Electronic Surveillance System, Mobile Communication, Embedded Systems, Power Industry, Software Development and others. They are also valued in commercial and corporate sectors such as Finance, Banking and Accountancy.

• 1-year internship/dissertation for PG students at Industry/Research Organizations like Intel India Pvt. Ltd., STMicroelectronics, NXP Semiconductors, Nokia, TATA Motors, Nvidia, CPA Global, Siemen, Philips, CSIR-SERB etc.

• Almost all PG students got Industrial training offer with the average stipend of Rs. 30,000/- per month.

• Most of the students got Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) during their industrial internship.
