FOR AIR WITH 98% LESS VIRUSES AND BACTERIA*
AirSafe is an air purifying invention fully developed by TESY for a selected range of electric panel convectors. The underlying technology is based on the combined operation of a built-in UVA module and the convector’s electric heating element. This is a highly efficient and durable solution for cleaning the ambient air.
AirSafe is harmless for people and pets as the UVA light exists naturally in the atmosphere, while at the same time it can exterminate 98% of the viruses and bacteria in the air*, thus providing a healthier home environment. It is ideal for families with children, people with allergies and anyone that would like to enjoy clean and safe air at home.
Pure hot air

Results are from a research, conducted by internationally recognized certified laboratory.
Interaction between the UVA module and the heating element
*Report about research of the electric convector’s impact over viruses: t° of the environment: 23-25°C, relative air humidity: 50-60%. The experiment took place in a room with total volume of 1 m³. Convector settings: Comfort Mode and 30°C.Test was conducted for Influenza A virus A/PR8/34 H1N1. Report about research of the electric convector’s impact over bacteria: t° of the environment: 20-25°C, relative air humidity: 50-70%. The experiment took place in a room with total volume of 10 m3. Convector settings: Comfort Mode and 30°C. Test was conducted for Staphylococcus albus 8032 bacteria. In order for AirSafe function to be properly working, the environment temperature must be lower than the temperature set on the convector.

MyTESY APP

MONITOR YOUR APPLIANCE AND SAVE ENERGY EFFICIENTLY VIA INTERNET CONTROL
MyTESY is an application for smartphones, tablets and computers allowing you to operate your TESY appliances anywhere all over the world. It is incorporated in products with a built-in Wi-Fi module, connected to your home wireless network. The software is flexible and easy to connect and use enabling you to programme and monitor the performance and efficiency of your TESY appliance. If you wish to have the comfort you have come to expect from TESY, you may opt for the ‘Comfort’ or ‘Eco’ mode and the integrated algorithm will do the rest for you. It only takes a click before going to bed and you will save energy and enjoy the right temperature for your sleep.
You can set a desired temperature when being at home. Once set and the function is switched on, the appliance will keep the same room temperature. Please note that the temperature is set at 23°C by default.
You can set a desired temperature when being out of home. Once set and the function is switched on, the appliance will keep the same room temperature. Please note that the temperature is set at 18°C by default. You can also set the time when the appliance should switch to ‘Comfort’ mode.

Two hours after activation, the convector decreases the set temperature in ‘Comfort’ mode with 3°C. You can set the duration of ‘Sleep’ mode after which the appliance will switch to Comfort mode. Please note that the default setting is 6 hours.

The MICA element consists of two insulation plates and resistive wires which heat up during operation. This heater has a high percentage of infrared heat radiation and the remaining heat is emitted in the form of convective heat (heated air). While a significant percentage of the infrared heat radiation warms the surrounding objects in the room.

Recommended for under window installation. Due to the special construction and alignment of the air vents (on the back side of the convector), the heated air comes out straign up and creates a heat curtain effect, which stops the cold air from the window. It helps with condensation problems.

Overheating protection
The appliance is equipped with a safety thermo turnoff device, which automatically turns the heater off in cases of extreme temperature of the panel heater /i.e. overheating of the appliance/. The safety thermo turn-off device will automatically restore the heater operation when the temperature of the appliance falls below the permissible ultimate values.
Anti-frost protection
If the room temperature falls below 5°C and the panel heater is off, the heater will turn on automatically in order to prevent freezing of the area.
Bathroom installation option - Splash proof IP 24 protection
According to the recommendations in the User manual. Applicable to the products offering IP24 protection. It means: “Ingress Protection”; first digit (2): Protection against solid objects in size > 12.5 mm; second digit (4): Liquids protection against harmful ingress of water, splashing water.
Child lock
All keys of the control panel remain locked for additionally safety
Tip-over protection
In case the convector tilts with more than 45° or falls down, the power must switch Off and indicate on display ‘’Tilt’’. After restoring the device to its normal position, operation of the last set function must continue.
Suitable for people allergic to dust
Suitable for people with respiratory problems and dust allergies, since there is no dust swirling.

ENERGY SAVING FEATURES

Temperature correction ±4° С
This function is typical for convectors of the highest class and ensures better temperature comfort and energy savings. Due to common installation of convector on external, colder walls (often below windows) the temperature appearing on the appliance display may differ from the actually measured temperature at various points in the room. If the difference is in the ±4°С range, you can make the necessary adjustment in convector’s menu.
The maxmum value of seasonal energy efficiency
Appliance with the highest possible seasonal energy efficiency (40%), according to the Energyrelated products (ErP) directive (Regulation 2015/1188 to Directive 2009/125 /EC). For detailed information, please see page 88.
Adaptive Start
Enhances temperature comfort in the heated room, with minimum power consumption. After 96 hours of selflearning, the functionality allows the convector heater to self-define turn on time so that the desired temperature is reached at the userdefined hour.
Open widnow/door function
Increases the heating appliance’s energy efficiency. It automatically shuts off the thermal power, in case it detects an open window or a viscous drop in the room temperature. When the room temperature increases, the convector turns on by itself.
Electronic thermoregulator
It detects the room temperature from 10 to 30° C with accuracy of ±0.1°С. Thanks to its precise temperature sensor the convector saves up to 21% electricity costs in comparison with bimetallic mechanical thermoregulator
Adjustable thermoregulator
Prеcise control of the temperature set up makes it convinient to manage the consumption of energy.

Weekly programmer
It allows a weekly setting forward for each day and hour, with half an hour step, so you can choоse the timing when the convector to operate, according to your needs and habits, and thus use energy more efficiently

18-hour timer with On/Off function
Allows setting the number of hours from 0 to 18 (the available options are at 30-minute intervals) in order to adjust when the panel heater to stop its operation. When adjusting the timer in Heating mode – the appliance will turn off after the selected time period.
PIR Sensor
Passive infrared (PIR) sensors use sensors to detect heat energy in the surrounding environment, which means human presence. PIR sensor has a timer with On/Off switch, which oerpates depending on the human presence
Delayed Start
It allows the user to set the time at which the convector will switch on and start heating. The default set up is 12 hours.
Multiple power setting
Controling the energy consumption by choosing a power setting
According to Regulation 2015/1188 to Directive 2009/125/EC with regard to ecodesign requirements for local space heaters, seasonal space heating energy efficiency means the ratio between the space heating demand, supplied by a local space heater and the annual energy consumption required to meet this demand, expressed in %. The seasonal energy efficiency of gas heater is 88,74% According to Regulation 2015/1186 to Directive 2010/30/EC with regard to the energy labelling of local space heaters, the energy class of gas heater is A.

What is the Energy-related products (ErP) directive?
Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament establishes a framework for defining the requirements of the Community for ecodesign of products, related to energy consumption. It contributes to the sustainable development by enhancing energy efficiency and the level of environmental protection, while improving the security of energy supply.
What does that mean?
Тhis is a program, introduced by the European Union, as means to reduce the energy consumption and carbon emissions in order to respond to the climate changes.
How can a document help to reduce the impacts of climate change?
This is not just a document. This is The Document. By setting minimum requirements for energy efficiency, with this regulation all low–efficient heating appliances should be excluded from the market, while at the same time the other should be improved. The technical advancement of heating appliances leads to improved energy efficiency and therefore ensures decreased levels of energy consumption..
To which products does the new Eco-design regulation 2015/1188 apply?
Since 1 January 2018, the EU Commission has set the minimum requirements for the following CE labeled energy–related products:
• Electric panel heaters
• Electric water heaters
• Bathroom heaters
• Boilers
• Heat pumps with a rated heat output < 400 kW
• Renewable energy water heaters (solar,heat pumps)
How will the customer know what to choose?
Along with the Eco–Design directive, a directive for labeling the heating appliances has been adopted. All water heaters, heat pumps and boilers need to be ranked from A (highest efficiency) to G (lowest efficiency). The other electric heating appliances must reach the minimum ErP rating in order to meet the new standards.
What about the electric heating appliances?
The Eco–Design regulation is based on calculating the Seasonal Energy Efficiency (Ns) for every electric heating appliance – convector, panel heater, radiator, radiant heater, bathroom heater. Each type of heater must meet the minimum requirement, depending on the type of its installation –fixed or mobile. Those requirements are Ns=36% for mobile appliances and Ns=38% for fixed appliances. The seasonal energy efficiency is calculated based on two criteria:
• Whether the device has a mechanical thermostat
or an electronic thermostat + a weekly programmer
• Presence of advanced functions like adaptive start, control via Internet, open window detection.
Gathering all functions, it reaches the maximum value of 40% Seasonal Energy Efficiency.

MICA Heaters
The MICA element consists of two insulation plates and resistive wires which heat up during operation. This heater has a high percentage of infrared heat radiation and the remaining heat is emitted in the form of convective heat (heated air). While a significant percentage of the infrared heat radiation warms the surrounding objects in the room.
PTC Fan Heaters
The surface of the PTC heating element is made of metallized ceramic material. The ceramic heating element produces a powerful infrared heat radiation and air convection. The infrared radiation heats up the surrounding walls, objects and furniture, which then give heat to the interior of the room. These appliances are economical due to the ceramic’s thermal properties allowing material resistance change regarding the surrounding temperature. Power output is adjusted so that the predetermined temperature is reached. This means that an appliance with rated power 1800 W, in case of reduction of the air outflow (or a defective turbine) regulates the output power itself, lowering it to 145-185W depending on the ambient temperature.
How much power do your appliances consume?
If your appliance has rated power input 1500 W it consumes 1500 W per hour. By the thermoregulator you can adjust the operating temperature. When it is set to a lower degree, it switches off the heating element power more often because the desired temperature is reached faster (the lower degree corresponds to a lower room temperature for a shorter time). When the degree is the maximum possible, the thermoregulator does not switch off, but the temperature at which the room will warm up depends on other factors such as, for example, its exposure, insulation, etc. Thanks to the thermoregulator, you can determine the degree of warming and therefore the electricity consumption for an astronomical hour.
For room and heating area
Minimum guaranteed heating volume / area at an average coefficient of thermal conductivity λ = 0.5 W/(m²K) for the heated room. Higher values for the heated volume / area are achieved at an average value of λ = 0.35 W/(m²K). Standard room height - 2.5 meters.
