Erasmus + activity: An Example in Erasmus + Regional Seminar for Asia 2019. PISAI project has been invited by European commission in September 2019 to present the project as an example to the audience from different countries in Asia.

The project was introduced by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chutima Tantikitti during the period of Erasmus + Regional Seminar for Asia 2019 at Kathmandu, Nepal.
Erasmus + activity: Capacity Building in Higher Education Technical Workshop PISAI project was invited by the European Commission in Laos to contribute as an example to give detailed information on how to prepare a proposal for the upcoming call for the submission of Erasmus + - Capacity Building in Higher Education Project for the deadline on Feb 5, 2020. The workshop was held in Vientiane on October 24-25, 2019.
The participants included representatives of the Ministry of Education and main universities in Laos from Vientiane as well as other provinces such as Luang Prabang and Savannakhet.
Training
Training course of Coconut (Nam Hom coconut/ Sweet juice coconut) plantation and value chain
PISAI project offered a practical training course on “Sweet Juice Coconut Plantation and the Value Chain” to a group of 20 students from Aceh Province, Indonesia during 25 November – 11 December 2019. The training was conducted mainly at the production sites at Ta Pak Agricultural Plantation, Na Thawi District, Songkhla Thailand and in the laboratory at the Faculty of Natural Resources, PSU.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Chutima Tantikitti also presented Double Degree Master Program under PISAI Project.
Training course for Aceh’s vocational high school teachers on agriculture PISAI project participated in the short course training under the international collaboration program between Faculty of Natural Resources, PSU and Dinas Pendidikan Aceh Office, Indonesia.
A training course on plant breeding and related topics was held from 24 November – 15 December 2019 at Faculty of Natural Resources, PSU, involving 40 teachers from Aceh’s vocational high school teachers, Indonesia.

PISAI in Southern Agricultural Fair (9-19 August 2019) Faculty of Natural Resources, PSU organized the Southern Agricultural Fair, from 9 – 19 August 2019 at the faculty, under the concept of Intensive Agriculture: Sustainable Life. The fair attracted about 500,000
attendance per year. PISAI project was participated in demonstration activities and seminar on sustainable agriculture and aquaculture.

PISAI's students were involving in hand-on demonstration and introduction of sustainable agriculture in the Southern Agricultural Fair.

PISAI project mid-term meeting was organized on November 8 2019, at the Faculty of Agriculture (KKU), Khon Kaen province, Thailand.
Activities and progress of project were discussed and remaining tasks to be achieved were summarized.

Thai staff from PSU attended the Module 1 on “Value Chain Management” during 13 – 20 August 2019 at Chiang Mai University (CMU).
Thai staff from PSU attended the workshop on "Agroecological zonation" (walking line transect and characterizing stations) during 22-25 October 2019 at KKU Agricultural Training Station, Roi-Et province, Thailand.
