Project activities Staff activities Students activities & Module Due to the COVID-19 situation, we have made the decision to postpone the 1st International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture and Aquaculture (ICSAA). The 1st ICASS will take place at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Songkhla province, Thailand, on 11-12 January, 2021. The extended abstract submission deadline is 10 October 2020. PISAI skype meeting is implemented on a monthly basis. Both Thai universities and the EU institutions work closely together for project activities.

On-line meeting with Dr. Petra Chaloupková, Czech University of Life Science Prague on the issue of Thai student’s mobility to CULS & the Tropentag Conference.

Thai partners’ meeting was held online on May 5, 2020. This meeting was to discuss on Thai student’s mobility to host university and to update the work plan.

Meeting with PISAI students PISAI students from our 4 Thai university partners participated in the online meeting. The meeting was held at PISAI conference room on May 4, 2020. Students reported on their progress and study plan.


The PSU team has brainstormed and prepared for the practical training on May 26, 2020. The aim of the training course is to expand the integrated educational materials from Modules 1-3 for different target groups such as interested students, young farmers, private companies and local and government organizations. Due to the COVID-19, the training course is planned for an on-line channel.

“Successful Organic Farm� Best practice farm site for practical training The online training will hold both organic and integrated farm sites. PISAI team visited the organic farm at Tha-Kham, Hat Yai City. Ms. Jeerawan Thasara, the farm owner, is one of the FNR farmer market network who successfully runs sustainable agricultural farm in the past several years.
