Teaching & Assessment

At UWS London, teaching and assessment go hand in hand to provide our students with a well-rounded educational experience. We use a variety of assessment methods to measure student learning and growth, including essays, individual and group presentations, online discussions, oral presentations, assignments, unseen examinations, and more. These different approaches allow us to evaluate a range of skills and competencies, from critical thinking and written communication to collaboration and public speaking. Our assessments are designed to be fair, transparent, and meaningful, providing students with constructive feedback to help them improve and succeed.

Hybrid Learning

We deliver high-quality, engaging, and interactive oncampus experiences for most programmes for our students. Our focus is on face-to-face, on-campus learning and teaching. Our sector-leading social learning model supplements your on-campus engagement with your academics and fellow students, enabling you to access high-quality teaching and learning in a way that suits you during the times you’re not on campus. Learning happens in many different ways - where it is simply the transmission of information to students, such as a traditional lecture, these will mostly take place online or be available online as pre-recorded content that you can access at a time that suits you. This hybrid learning format adopts a ‘best of both worlds’ approach and allows students flexibility in their studies.

Online Library Access

Online library access is a vital component of a university education, providing students with easy and convenient access to an extensive range of academic resources. With just a few clicks, students can access a vast array of digital materials, including scholarly articles, e-books, and multimedia resources, from anywhere, at any time. This accessibility ensures that students have the necessary resources to support their academic pursuits, regardless of their location or schedule. Additionally, online library access provides students with the ability to conduct research and complete assignments efficiently and effectively, without the limitations of physical library hours or location. With access to online resources, students can easily search, save, and organise materials, making the research process more streamlined and productive.

Laptop Rental

Laptop rental is a popular free service offered by UWS London, that provides students with easy access to technology for their academic needs. Renting a laptop has numerous advantages for students who may not have the financial means to purchase one or may require a laptop for a short time. This facility enables students to complete coursework, research, and access online resources from anywhere on campus. Additionally, laptop rentals provide students with the latest technology and software, which they may not be able to obtain otherwise. Students who rent laptops also have the added advantage of receiving technical support from the University’s IT department.

MBA with Digital Marketing

Maria Elena Castro Lopez

First of all, I have to say that I have learned a lot from my professors. They were so helpful, supportive and every time I needed help with something, they were always ready to help.

They pushed me to expand my knowledge and made me challenge myself and my views, making me want to learn more and explore more information. Thus, I think professors like them are one of the greatest and most valuable things here at UWS.

I also appreciate the TEG club, here at UWS London. I have had much fun, visited different places, and learned different skills and tools that are going to help me in my personal and professional life; not only that, but I have been able to meet new and great friends and felt part of a community.
