Despite the challenging backdrop at the beginning of the year, the UK property market has shown resilience in the face of surging mortgage rates with buyer demand being 3% higher than levels prior to the pandemic. These elevated levels of demand have driven a strong start to the Autumn market, with a number of sales being agreed in excess of the guide price, having received multiple offers.
