THtaylor hildebrandt

Hello! My name is Taylor Hildebrandt. I was born in Mission Viejo, California, and was raised in Jacksonville and Tallahassee, Florida. My college experience began at Tallahassee Community College, where i earned my A.A. Degree and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a national Honor Society. Upon Graduation, I immediately began the grueling process of applying to and entering the Interior Architecture and Design program at Florida State University, to which I gained admission in the summer of 2018. i spent the next three years completing the program, alongside wonderful, life-long friends. i graduated from Florida State University in the spring of 2021 and was hired, full-time, by a Tallahassee based architectural firm, Conn Architects. I have found my true passion in the world of architecture and interior design, and continue to yearn, every day, to expand my knowledge base and experience.

The Zenith Hotel Warsaw is a mixed-use hotel located in Warsaw, Poland. it is designed to cater to both business travelers and tourists who come from far and wide to experience the sights and sounds within this beautiful city. some goals the hotel adheres to are, providing an authentic experience to these tourists and businessmen that connect their thoughts and senses with the culture of Warsaw and providing a luxurious and multi-faceted experience for anyone.
this was my last project in my final year of school at Florida State University, it is the project that encompasses every element of design, every program i have mastered, and every minute of knowledge i have gained, organized into one project.
The starting point was to generate preliminary bubble diagrams to look at and analyze every overall plan to find the best option.
The Harvard School of Design describes a mixed-use hotel as a space with “Three uses in one building, where no component makes up more than 60 percent of the overall space.”
Mixed-use hotels can create a “one-stop-shop” experience for guests checking-in and using the facilities. This hotel concept often partners with well-known and loved restaurants, spas, or other amenities; these partnerships help to contribute to the success of the hotel.
level 2
This mixed-use hotel includes spaces such as, event space, restaurant, bar, mini-market and gathering space.
levels 3 through 8 guest rooms
Accommodation is the essence of the hotel industry, the survivability of the industry is impacted by the provision of guest accommodations. The provision of favored guest accommodations fosters goodwill between the hotel and its guests.
“Zenith” is defined as the time in which something or someone is most powerful or successful. It is valuable to keep in mind that this hotel, as a mixed-use development, strives to stay in contact with guests throughout their stay, bringing further hospitality, and an exceptional experience to all guests.
Having the ability to spend a large period of time researching and programming helped me to understand the Polish culture and context of Warsaw. This project provided me a great understanding of backgrounds and equity in design.

this project began weeks before the global outbreak of the Coronavirus. Due to the nature of the world and overall mental well-being of those in the midst of this pandemic, the responsibility and care of designing a space to reach many was imperative.
• Design to improve user mood and outlook on life (experience) upon entry to the clinic space.
• Provide colors that correspond with departments/areas of the clinic for easy differentiation.
• Include check-in “ringer” buttons for visually or physically impaired individuals, these buttons provide the impaired with staff help to their desired location.
plan legend:
Desirable view
egress Access Natural Sunlight
The color palette showcases the bright and airy graphics within the clinic. The color coding of the public spaces help patients to navigate through the space and maintain patient confidentiality . the maximum desirable views were taken advantage of for patients to feel comfortable and happy.
Anxiety can be a common response when in clinical spaces; therefore, the design mimics restorative healing processes and induces an individual’s sense of calm . the clinical space follows a natural and simplistic design that focuses on natural light as a healer.
Room numbers are illuminated for simple wayfinding.
Windows are frosted glass for privacy and dispersed sunlight penetration.
Completing this project while remote during the outbreak of coronavirus gave me a unique understanding of the imperative nature of clinics, as well as healthcare spaces in general.
This project allowed me the opportunity to understand the importance of considering the needs of others in design.

Joy can boost the body’s wellbeing and resilience by helping to prevent sickness. The longer days of spring bring more hours of sunlight each day which affect individuals positively, as of serotonin of happiness and energy to those affected. Joy is an emotion that can be different for all people, these individuals can vary in how joy affects them; therefore, these circular and rectilinear shapes are used to support all
This project was completed fully remotely. This project encouraged my ability to learn more about the digital software i had been taught in school, thus further honing my skills
An additional small project assigned on top of Bijoux, was the design of a pendant light to use as part of the interior.
The “flower” pendant was designed specifically as the centerpiece of this joyful jewelry store.

The Paris Apartment is located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. Located in the center of the city, the apartment design is meant to mimic the city-life exhibited directly outside of the apartment. The design follows a busy yet intricate design.
This project was assigned specifically to hone hand-sketching and rendering skills. Hand-renders have helped sharpen my meticulous nature, as well as further enhancing my attention to detail
level 1
not to scale
The floor plan was completed first as a way to properly lay out furniture and artwork. Bedroom and bathroom spaces were to the second floor and rendered “out of scope.”
Each detail was first drawn in pencil, then rendered and colorized with markers and colored pencils. The final touch, to go in with a black ink pen and a white ink pen to take advantage of highlights and lowlights.
