Guaranteed Minimum Prize Money of €100,000
Lots catalogued and offered at the Derby Sale, including Part II and July Store Sale will be eligible.
The race will be run over 2 miles at Leopardstown Racecourse, December 2026. All horses must be entered by Wednesday 2nd September 2026, and subsequently declared at the relevant forfeit stages.
Elimination:
Runners in the race will be reduced by the elimination of the horses which in the opinion of the Handicapper have the lowest rating at the time. Horses which have not run will be eliminated first by random ballot.
The full entry fee of €1,000 will be returned to the owners of those that are eliminated.

Eligibilty for the Race:
1. All 2 and 3 year olds catalogued and offered for sale in the 2025 Derby Sale, including Part II and July Store Sale, as well as all 3-year-olds catalogued and offered at the 2026 Derby Sale, including Part II and July Store Sale will be eligible for entry in the 2026 €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper. 2. Tattersalls Ireland may in their absolute discretion confer eligibility for entry to the Tattersalls Ireland Sales Bumper where;
a.1. Lots catalogued and offered for sale in the Derby Sale, including Part II and the July Store Sale, shall be eligible for entry in the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland
MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper provided that full payment of all entry fees, the purchase price, commission and interest (if applicable) shall be received by Tattersalls Ireland at a date to be confirmed by Tattersalls Ireland.
a.2. Lots which are unsold on the day of sale may be made eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland
MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper provided that full payment of all entry fees and commission equal to 5% of the reserve price is received by Tattersalls Ireland at a date to be confirmed by Tattersalls Ireland.
a.3. Lots which are bought-in may be made eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL MercedesBenz Sales Bumper provided that full payment of all entry fees and commission equal to 2.5% (5% if undeclared) of the ring price is received by Tattersalls Ireland at a date to be confirmed by Tattersalls Ireland.
a.4. If a lot is returned in any of the circumstances contained in the Conditions of Sale, eligibility for inclusion in the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper can be conferred
on the lot provided that Tattersalls Ireland receive payment of all entry fees and commission equal to 5% of the ring price at a date to be confirmed by Tattersalls Ireland.
a.5. Sale and Race incentives associated with this sale are, in addition to Tattersalls Ireland Standard Conditions of Sale, subject to the Rules and Regulations of the various Racing and other Regulatory Authorities.
a.6. Tattersalls Ireland reserve the right to change, amend or vary at any time, without notice, any detail, arrangement or condition pertaining to these incentives, eligibility and races and shall not incur any liability for any loss, damage or expense howsoever arising which may be incurred by any purchaser or other interested party arising in any way whatsoever from their participation or involvement in the said Sales and Races.
3. The rules of HRI, the IHRB, or its successor(s) shall apply otherwise to The Race.
4. A horse must be named before the Entry Date on Wednesday 2nd September 2026, and must be returned in the trainer’s care by a date to be set by HRI. Any horse not named before Wednesday 2nd September 2026 will not be eligible for entry and any horse not returned in the trainer’s care before a date set by HRI will be automatically struck from the race.
5. Any horse who runs in the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper as a 3 year old will not be eligible to run in the following renewal of said Sales Bumper as a 4 year old.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, the eligible vendor of the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper vendor prize are those who offer the horse at the Derby Sale, including Part II or July Store Sale.
7. If the winner of the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper has appeared in the Derby Sale, including Part II or July Store Sale as both a 2 year old and 3 year old, the winning vendor eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland MSL Mercedes-Benz Sales Bumper vendor prize are those who offered the horse at the most recent store sale.
