IMAGES FOR CHANGE A WIDER VISION, A BIGGER IMPACT
THE PROJECT ABSTRACT “Images For Change� is a joint proposition of Joan Bardeletti and CAD Productions, two experienced image producers working in the development sector. Given the increasing complexity of global interaction, we have developed a unique capacity to translate complex and technical issues into clear and inspiring visual content. We create and bring original visual support into new fields to address sustainable issues. Our unique methodology and dedicated tools are based on images production, analytical investigation and online multimedia contents. This approach allows us to promote change and raise awareness with the intention of enhancing development impact and social transformation.

WHAT WE DO
We develop and manage creative and innovative visual projects based on solid analyses on development issues and international affairs.
We use visual/sound contents to conduct impact assessment, project evaluation, training, or to foster stakeholders’ participation.
We simultaneously conduct analysis, produce visual contents and document the project in order to improve its efficiency, timeframe and consistency.

Storyteller of success Success is a collection of visual stories of people having made great achievements and being source of inspiration for others. Possible format: video, photography, sound Ideal for: trainings, project dissemination and upscaling

Pre/post audiovisual evaluation Is an assessment of the project’s progress through visual and analytical content. We document the project during its various phases from its launch to its closing. We analyze and illustrate through images the project’s human, social and environmental impact. We foster participation by combining our own images with materials provided by the community and the project’s team. Possible formats: web-documentary, mobile app, audiovisual content (infographics, animations) Ideal for: monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, project dissemination and upscaling

InfO capsule Is an online knowledge management content platform. It presents trainings through a series of short visual pieces. Joan BARDELETTI Joan Bardeletti is a French photographer, video maker and media entrepreneur based in Barcelona. Amongst other, he received a World Press Photo in 2010, a Getty Grant award in 2011 and two Innovation in Development Reporting Grant from European Journalism Center in 2013 & 2016. His work is part of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France fund in Paris. He works regularly on assignment for best European press publications as well as for corporate companies, institutions or NGOs. Joan developed and extensive experience in tackling in creative ways development issues especially in Africa. He cofounded Collateral Creations in 2010, a production company designing projects associating visual contents with research analytical contents.He conducted over 8 projects with large team of artists, researchers, developers, journalists working for on
African middle classes, Civil society in Tunisia, food perception in urban African, perception of power in Madagascar, Impact of SME on Africa’s development. He is also a founding member of Studiofly, one of the best French company shooting aerial photography/video using drones, and of Draagu a tech start-up Barcelona based offering a new solution to access smartphone images made from remote places. Joan benefits from an extended and experienced network of audio-visual professionals (he is a member of Panos Pictures agency, the #1 worldwide agency for development issues), as well as designers, developers, sound engineers, researchers, etc.
FERNANDO CASADO He is a Ph.D. economist and journalist specialized in projects related to economic and sustainable development. As Founder and Director of CAD Productions, he has directed social documentaries for more than ten years in more than 20 countries all over the world, in Latin America, Africa or Asia and for a great number of companies, organizations and institutions. He also runs the Centre of Partnerships for Development (CAD) where he manages projects with international

organizations, cooperation agencies and private sector in evaluation and monitoring, economic development, green economy, SME strengthening, climate change, evaluation, monitoring, design and implementation of partnerships for development.
CAD PRODUCTIONS CAD Productions specializes producing documentaries that address sustainable human development challenges. Our slogan, images that change the world, reflects the spirit of our social documentary production company that was primarily created to showcase successful stories of communities and individuals achieving development goals. We are story-tellers and experts in providing innovative audio-visual pieces in the field of development cooperation. Through images and audio-visual products, we create spaces for reflection, awareness raising and applied research enhancing an interactive and participatory debate with society. Topics include social innovation, poverty eradication, entrepreneurship, urban development, universal access to primary education, countries affected by conflict and transition to peace, gender equality, health, migration and multiculturalism, among others.
Throughout the years, we have built an international network of engaged professionals in the fields of filmmaking, script writing, animations, communication strategies and audiovisual distribution. We gain extra impetus and depth by being able to call upon the development expertise of our parent company, the Centre of Partnerships for Development (CAD in Spanish). CAD is a consultancy firm with a wide network of international experts committed to human and sustainable development sharing the common belief that promoting partnerships is a need to find innovative and sustainable solutions to global challenges.
