Book Club

Whether an avid independent reader, or just someone who wants to develop their own reading within a supportive group, Book Club is the forum for both. We aim to read a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts including short stories, graphic novels, memoirs and biographies and will be very much led by the personal interests of the group. We will balance shared and independent reading with discussion and exploration of ideas raised in texts. If you love reading, or know you should be reading more, this is the club for you.
Boys’ Choir

A choir for boys with 'unbroken' voices who enjoy singing a range of music in different styles. No auditions are required. This group will help boys to continue singing as their voices start to change. There will be the opportunity to perform in concerts throughout the year.

Cryptic Crossword Club
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 10-13
A cryptic crossword typically clues the solution in two ways. Somewhere in the clue there is a simple definition of the solution word or words. The rest of the clue is some form of wordplay which gives another route to the solution. Often the obvious meaning of the whole clue when read has little to do with the solution and may well be a distraction. In this club we shall examine how these clues work and experience a wide variety of different clue structures as we learn to solve cryptic crosswords.

Cryptography for beginners. We shall look at some of the techniques people have used to encode and decode messages through history and then take part in the UK National Cipher Challenge, run by the University of Southampton.

Come adventure with us, playing a game limited only by your imagination (dungeons and/or dragons are likely to appear). Alternatively, you might like to lead your own story and find creative ways to encourage and mess with your players. All experience levels welcome!
Essential Cooking Skills

Started thinking about life beyond Tanglin yet? One of the necessities is to know how to cook! Let your inner chef out in our Essential Cooking Skills CCA. This course is designed for beginner Upper School and Sixth Form students. You will learn some basic kitchen skills and techniques as you cook a new dish every week. Dishes will vary between sweet and savoury. You will need to bring your own container every week to take your dishes home. We cook in the Lifeskills kitchen, so class size is limited to 24. Get your apron on and let’s start cooking!
Film Genre & SFX Club
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7
In this club, we will dive into some of the most popular genres for young people. We will examine the conventions of a wide range of film genres including Superhero, Action, Sci-fi and others. We will watch iconic sequences from some landmark films and from some of cinema’s greatest directors – Spielberg, Lucas, Nolan, Scott - and try to recreate our own versions of iconic cinema moments. We will also introduce some Special Effects (SFX) editing techniques to really make your films come alive.

F1 in Schools
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7-13
The F1 in Schools is a competition that gives students the opportunity to work as a team to Design, Make, Test, and Race their Formula 1 car against other teams on a local and international stage. This club will initially begin with in-depth training on our Computer Aided Design package (Fusion360) to develop the skills you will need to design your own F1 car. Once the car is designed, we will use a range of tools and equipment to create it in the workshop, such as 3D printers and CNC Milling machines. The F1 cars are then tested in a wind tunnel and on a race track to evaluate how quick they are, with improvements to the design made until it is ready for the World Finals Competition. As we will be working towards competing in the World Finals competitions, students will need to commit to the project for a period of time to give us the best opportunity to win the competition.
French Cine Club
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 8-10
Explore French and Francophone cultures through the lens of film. Over the term, we’ll watch and analyse two to three films that highlight themes such as French history and social change. Alongside discussions, students will take part in creative or research-based projects to deepen their understanding. Open to all students, whether or not they study French. Active participation is essential.
Geography & History Bee
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7-8
Calling all Geography and History enthusiasts. Do you have a rough idea of where countries are located on a map and do you have a curiosity about global physical and human geography landmarks and cultures? Do you enjoy learning about key past events and the impact they have on the course of a country's evolution? We will work collectively to prepare for the Asian Championships in International Geography and History. Participants will practise key questions and work together to create a repository of information needed to ace the tournaments that lead up to the International Championships. Participants will be required to take a quick 20 minute online qualifying exam in both subject areas in order to join the CCA.

Mixed ability rugby - This is by invite of Mr Martin for year 10 students. It is a brilliant program funded by the ATLAS foundation and involves inclusively working with students from other schools playing and coaching rugby.
Introduction to Golf

Sessions tailored for pupils in Years 7-9 who are new to the game and looking to develop skills which allow them to be more confident when out on the course. This activity is held at school in the Golf bays at Centenary Building Cricket Deck.

Join our "Learn to Code with Python" program! This 12-week co-curricular activity is designed for students eager to explore the world of programming and enhance their coding skills. Held every Monday during Period 6, each onehour session will cover essential Python concepts, from basic input and output to more advanced topics like nested loops and string manipulation. Coding is a valuable skill that fosters problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and creativity. It opens up numerous opportunities in various fields, from technology to science and beyond. By learning Python, students will gain a strong foundation in one of the most popular and versatile programming languages. The curriculum has been designed by our outside provider The Lab and includes key topics such as variables, loops, conditionals, and string manipulation. Students will also participate in two competition trials, providing a practical and engaging way to apply their knowledge. Lego Robotics

The Lego Robotics club is focused around using the LEGO SPIKE kits to design, create and test robots. The robots are used to complete a series of challenges under timed conditions. Students attending will be taking part in the Lego Robotics League, an international event where teams of students compete in a range of robotic challenges.
Lions of Symmetry: Maths Enrichment
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7-9
A dynamic maths enrichment session providing opportunities to explore mathematics outside the school curriculum. Areas we delve into include coding and ciphers, the maths behind games, sudoku and similar puzzles. We puzzle our way through maths problems and compete in teams in mini tournaments. The perfect club if you enjoy problem-solving, logical games and working with others. We also prepare for the UKMT challenges and other competitions, so if you are keen to hone your skills, this is the Club for you.
MedSoc
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 13
Are you interested in going to medical school and pursuing a career as a Doctor or Vet? At MedSoc we will discuss all manner of things medical from recent medical breakthroughs and medicine in the news to helping you prepare for the interviews. You will even get the opportunity to do some suturing!
Marine Science: Marine Organisms
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 10-13
It has been suggested that we know more about space than we do the oceans and that we have 95 of marine species still to discover. However, there are lots of weird and wonderful sea creatures that we will uncover during this CCA. Come along if you want to be able to identify your cnidaria from your echinoderms whilst also discovering everything from the migratory habits of leatherback turtles to the importance of microscopic photosynthesising organisms. (This is a standalone CCA however along with other topics this could become part of the IGCSE Marine Science qualification)
Model United Nations (MUN)
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7-13
Interested in the politics of global issues such as the environment, human rights and conflict resolution? Model United Nations (MUN) is a student-led Club that will allow you to explore these issues, and more besides. In MUN, you will take on roles as diplomats, research issues, debate and deliberate with other delegates, and try to find solutions to real world problems. Middle School students are preparing for our own Tanglin Conference (CENTMUN) in December. In Term 1, Upper School students are preparing for Conferences at UWC East (October) and OFS (November). There are also student leadership opportunities for committed delegates. Absolutely no prior experience is required, and all ability levels are welcome.

Intermediate Music Theory and Aural Club is only for students working towards ABRSM theory exams and for those that have already completed Grade 1 Theory. We will cover a range of Theory including scales and key signatures, intervals, chords and harmony, technical terms, musical devices and much more. In addition, students will have the opportunity to develop their aural skills.
Mythology Club

Come to Mythology Club to explore the myths and legends of the ancient world. We will be exploring Egyptian, Norse, Greek and Indian mythology to understand the cultures of the ancient world better. If you like stories, heroes, action and adventure, then this the club for you. We will be acting, drawing and creating to help make these stories come alive!
Portrait Sculpture
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7-11
This activity offers a chance to submerge yourself in creative, sculptural play. Learn how to sculpt a realistic or abstract portrait from clay. Spend the term developing your building skills within the art department. Your imagination is your only limit!
Scholars: Debate
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7-9
In Scholars: Debate, students will be tackling some of the greatest issues that face us today. Through debate, students will challenge each other on such topics as climate change, water scarcity and food shortages and try to find solutions to these important problems. They will also develop important skills in research, expressing ideas and engaging with the ideas of others. Students can also use this CCA to train for the World Scholar's Cup, for which the Singapore Round will take place in early Term 3.

Sculpting with a Pen

Not quite 3D printing — but just as cool! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to draw in mid-air using heated plastic filament and a 3D pen. Create bold forms, wearable pieces, or wild abstract shapes as you explore the space between drawing and sculpture. No experience needed — just a steady hand and a curious mind.
Service: St John’s Home for the Elderly
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 8-9
This CCA is a wonderful opportunity for Middle School students to engage in Service Learning at St John’s Home for the Elderly. This will involve a multifaceted approach that includes research, interviews, and fundraising initiatives. We will alternate between sessions at school and visits to St John’s. We will bus there and back for the visits, returning to school about 5pm.
Spanish: An Exploration of Asturias
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 8-9
This CCA is open to Year 8 and Year 9 students of Spanish. It includes a study of Asturias, a region in northern Spain well known for its culture, sports and landscapes. You will improve your skills in listening, reading, speaking and writing as well as your cultural knowledge about this part of Spain.
Literature Society (TLC)

If you love reading or want to read more we are a group of enthusiastic readers who have lots of ideas on what’s worth taking off the shelf next! Mostly student led according to the personal interests of the group, we enjoy sharing our reading experiences with each other through discussion, presentations, podcasts and even our Goodreads profiles. The level of participation is up to you, but this is an opportunity to be open-minded, develop reading choices, and be inspired to branch out into new genres and authors that have been enjoyed by others. We are particularly keen to invite 10 and Y11 students who are thinking of English beyond KS4 and anyone who would like to be part of an easygoing reading community.
The Tanglin Scoop: Journalism Club

The Tanglin Scoop offers an exciting opportunity to create, present, film, and edit news stories that spotlight key events, achievements, and developments across the school. From scriptwriting and on-camera presenting to filming and editing, supported by the Sixth Form Media Tech crew, students will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of digital journalism. This is a chance to tell the stories that matter at TTS and to share them with the wider Tanglin community.
The Institute
Entrepreneurship Programme
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year Group: 12
This is a unique, competitive opportunity for Tanglin students to work with top entrepreneurship coaches and industry leaders from global firms such as Microsoft, BHP, and Standard Chartered Ventures. Over two terms, selected students will form startup teams, develop a business idea, and pitch to a panel of venture builders and investors. With tailored coaching from Reactor School and exposure to real-world feedback, this programme builds critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in a professional setting. Students are selected based on their application, due by 9am on 19 August (Week 1 Tue) — and are strongly encouraged to work on it over the summer. It runs every Monday 3-5pm and requires one Saturday morning commitment in the first half of Term 1. This standout experience is not available at any other school in Singapore and offers stretch, leadership, and challenge beyond the classroom. Touch typing is the ability to type without looking at the keys. When you can touch type the keyboard almost feels like an extension of your body and you can work more efficiently and at speed. In today's world almost every job is going to require computer skills, having the ability to touch type will set you apart from others and enable you to get your work done quicker. It'll also help you complete work and assignments quicker too. It's not an easy skill to master, but once you have it...it'll transfor the way that you work on your device. Are you up for a challenge? Do you want to improve your study skills and learn an invaluable skill? If so, this is the CCA for you.
Trading Challenge
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 10-12
An exciting CCA in which students will learn about the world of financial trading including sessions on ethical investing, green investing, trade cycles, how the stock market works as well as some guest speakers. There will be the opportunity to take part in a stocks and shares trading simulation to see how the stock market works and how it is impacted by external factors as live news comes in.
Weaving Wonders

In Weaving Wonders, you’ll learn how to transform colourful yarn, fabric strips, and even recycled bits into cool creations like funky coasters, wall hangings, and more. We’ll explore both old-school and modern weaving styles, discover cool patterns from around the globe, and maybe even invent a few of our own!
Trailblazers: Enterprise

Want to learn new skills and enjoy experiences to help you become a successful future entrepreneur? Want the chance to make a profit, part of which you can retain? Then signup for ‘Trailblazers’ - the enterprise-based CCA for students in Year 10 and 11. Create your own company. Design, produce and sell a product or service that meets customer needs. Develop presentation, team-working and business skills. Assume different roles and responsibilities in your company. Join ‘Trailblazers’ and gain hands-on business experience.
Writers Unblocked
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 7-8
Calling all budding author, poets and playwrights. Writers Unblocked is Tanglin's Society for creative writers in all genres. Sessions will involve input on different aspects of writer's craft, time to work on your own writing and the opportunity to receive feedback from peers, teachers and professional writers. We welcome students who would like to develop their writing in a range of forms including novels, short stories, poetry, fan fiction, and even graphic novels and playscripts/ screenplays.
Year 9 Drama Production: When is this over?
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm Year: 9
Students will explore a modern text about a group of teenagers and how their lives have been shaped by external factors and events that are beyond their control. Through ensemble work under staff guidance, this raw and gritty piece of theatre will be created and rehearsed for a performance in Term 1 on the 8th of December.

The advanced CAD/CAM course is an exciting opportunity for students in Year 11 and above to explore the world of computer-aided design and manufacturing. This course equips students with essential skills using industry-leading software such as Fusion 360 and Illustrator. Students learn to create intricate designs, model objects, and simulate real-world scenarios. The CAD component enables them to unleash their creativity, designing products, architecture, and more. The CAM aspect introduces students to laser cutting and 3D printing, allowing them to bring their digital designs to life. Through handson projects and practical applications, students gain invaluable experience in the rapidly evolving fields of CAD and CAM, preparing them for future careers in design and manufacturing. You should be a current D&T student to sign up. Please see your Design and Technology teacher to sign up for this activity before the end of week 1.
ARTiculation: Public Speaking
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 10-13
This CCA allows you to prepare a speech for Articulation SG, a nationwide public speaking competition. Co-organised by National Gallery Singapore (the Gallery) and the Singapore Art Museum (SAM), in conjunction with National Gallery, London, the competition is designed, the competition is designed to promote the appreciation and discussion of art among youths. Articulation invites leading arts experts and practitioners to adjudicate the Semi-finals and Grand Finals, where students deliver their presentations to them and an audience. Emphasis is placed on research, presentation skills, original thought, and evidence of each speaker’s unique potential.

Do you have a love for Chemistry? Are you interested in expanding your knowledge and understanding beyond the classroom, and to put it to the test? If yes, then this CCA is for you. The CCA will provide opportunities to study advanced concepts in chemistry such as quantum and molecular orbital theories, symmetry operations and photochemistry. This CCA is aimed at students who want to prepare for undergraduate studies in the chemical sciences, build confidence when speaking about scientific concepts and who enjoy discussing pertinent scientific issues. There is also the potential to compete in the annual RSC Olympiad.

Ancient Greek
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 9-13
We will be studying for the Intermediate Greek Certificate course, which will run over two years and result in a half-GCSE, although there is no pressure to continue with it until that point. We'll be studying predominantly language, but will also look at some Greek mythology.
CAD/CAM Club
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 9-10
Do you want to learn how to use the 3D printers? Do you want to be able to draw using Fusion 360 computer aided design software? The CAD component enables students to work through tutorials and lessons honing their skills ready for manufacture. The CAM aspect introduces students to laser cutting and 3D printing, allowing them to bring their digital designs to life. The Advanced (MT) Chinese Society is dedicated to Chinese Mother Tongue students and those enrolled in Chinese Mother Tongue courses. In Term 1, we will host a series of debates conducted in Chinese, covering a wide range of topics relevant to students' experiences. Term 2 will focus on discussing current affairs within Chinese society, fostering awareness and understanding. In Term 3, our goal is to publish a Chinese magazine, providing a platform for students to showcase their writing skills and contribute to the community. All Mother Tongue students interested in improving their public speaking abilities in Chinese and gaining deeper insights into our Chinese society are warmly welcome to join us.
Composition Club

Students will have the opportunity to learn composition skills and techniques in a variety of styles and compose their own pieces of music. Students should have a basic knowledge of music theory, or some previous experience with GarageBand, Logic or Sibelius.
Competitive Coding
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 9-13
Once you enter into programming you just do not learn how to code but you also learn the “art of thinking”, by breaking your code into smaller chunks and then using your logicbased creativity to solve a problem from different angles. The activity is designed to develop computational thinking, algorithm and problem solving allowing you to apply steps to code solutions to challenges. The activity is linked to several national and international competitions as well as our inhouse competition The Computing Games.
Dual Linguist - French/Spanish
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 9
This course enables students who have stopped learning French or Spanish at the end of Year 8 to continue their exposure with the language throughout Year 9. The goal of the course is to allow students to build on their knowledge of their language of choice in all four skills and the final target is to be in a position where they are able to choose to continue with said language at IGCSE if they wish to do so.
Economics Society & Speaker Series

The world moves faster than A Level and IB Curriculum. Economics Society is an opportunity for keen students, who want to learn without the confines of the syllabus. For example, are you interested in how cryptocurrencies compares to traditional investing methods? What will the inequality look like in the post-pandemic, AI-driven world? We host opportunities for student leadership and personal development. Integrating with the successful student-led finance society, you can look forward to our second Student Finance Conference as well as our regular array of debates, discussions and our annual Economics public speaking competition. Engineering Explorations
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm
Year: 10-11
This dynamic extracurricular program invites students to tackle real-world engineering challenges through the exciting themes of rocket launchers and solar panel systems. Participants will engage in hands-on projects that blend creativity with scientific rigor, applying key mathematical skills and physics concepts aligned with post-16 curricula. Students will explore the principles of projectile motion, energy transfer, aerodynamics, and electrical circuits. Through the design and testing of model rocket launchers, they will investigate forces, momentum, and kinematics. In parallel, solar panel projects will introduce concepts such as energy efficiency, photovoltaic technology, and power output optimization. Each challenge begins with a design brief, encouraging students to research, plan, and prototype innovative solutions. They will use mathematical modeling, data analysis, and iterative testing to refine their designs, developing critical thinking and problemsolving skills along the way. Collaboration is central to the experience, with students working in teams to present their findings and justify their engineering decisions. This activity not only deepens scientific understanding but also fosters communication, leadership, and project management skills—preparing students for further study and careers in STEM fields. If students sign on for two terms they have the potential to compete in the TKK Young inventors award.
Galileo Galilei Advanced Physics Society

This society will allow students who have a deep interest in Physics to challenge themselves by learning about some of the more advanced areas of Physics that they are unable to learn about in the classroom. Through a mixture of lectures, projects, guided research, scientific investigation and hopefully guest speakers students will be able to learn about fascinating areas of Physics including Special Relativity, General Relativity, Field Theory, The Higgs Boson, Dark Energy and Dark Matter, Cosmology as well as discovering some of the amazing breakthroughs in the field of Physics from history. Perfect for anyone with an interest in Physics and ideal for those wishing to pursue Physics or Engineering at university.
Humanities Unlocked

Are you a Y11 or Y12 humanities student feeling unsure about how to approach your studies? Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the sheer volume of material to learn? Or perhaps you understand the content but struggle to write evaluative essays or demonstrate critical thinking? If so, Learning to Learn in Humanities, will help you to explore effective strategies for studying, thinking critically, and writing with confidence. This is the society for you if you are looking to sharpen your analytical skills or simply want to feel more in control of your learning.
History Society

The History Society will give you the opportunity to explore some of the events, people, places, ideas and concepts more deeply than we're able to in class. We will use key documents, key ideas and key works to really see what made people tick in the past.
International Relations Society

Are you curious about the world around you? Interested in global issues, diplomacy, politics, geography, history — or how countries work together (or don’t)? Then the International Relations Society (IRS) might be for you! Open to students in Years 10 – 13, we will explore realworld issues, current events, and the big-picture forces behind international conflict, cooperation, economic interdependence, and global change. From the United Nations to climate policy, from Russia and NATO to the rise of China and the return of Trump, we’ll dive into the key topics shaping today’s world. We will also welcome several high profile speakers in Term 1. No prior knowledge needed — just an open mind and a global outlook.
Introduction to Golf

Sessions tailored for pupils in Years 10/11 who are new to the game and looking to develop skills which allow them to be more confident when out on the course. This activity is held at school in the Golf bays at Centenary Building Cricket Deck.
Law Study Group
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 11-13
Many students want to study Law later in life but have little awareness of what the Law actually is. In this CCA students will be learning about as many different aspects of the law as they wish, through MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) and discussion. Starting with the basics of English Common Law (which forms the basis of many modern legal systems), students can then branch out depending on their interests and abilities. In many cases students will be able to earn a certificate which can support later university applications.
Maths Enrichment & Olympiads

Our society offers dedicated preparation sessions for prestigious maths competitions like the UKMT. Students who are planning to participate in maths competitions will engage in both collaborative and individual study, focusing on key topics and honing their skills. Additionally, members will have the chance to simulate competition environments, ensuring they are well-prepared for the real thing.
Music Tech Club

Music Tech Club will teach students about the wonderful world of sound technology, including setting up equipment, using Logic Pro, recording and production skills. Members of the club will have the opportunity to put theory into practice by helping out at school events as part of the music tech team.
Phil Soc

Have you ever wondered whether you are a brain in a vat, why it is considered 'wrong' to eat other humans, or whether it is possible for God to exist along with so much evil and suffering? If the answer to any of these questions is 'yes', PhilSoc is for you. Come along to tackle a Big Question each week. Engage in discussion and debates with other students, think about things you didn't even know you needed to think about, and get the chance to hone your debating and critical thinking skills.
Senior Maths Society: Gardner’s World

Gardner's World is the Senior Maths Society, an opportunity for pupils across the Upper School and Sixth Form to find out more about the beauty of mathematics. There will be puzzles, lectures, guest speakers and opportunities to work together on projects to gain a deep understanding of different areas of the subject. This society will also include maths competition preparation sessions.

Spanish Literature & Film Studies

This course is open to Year 10 and 11 students of Spanish who are looking to broaden their knowledge of Hispanic literature and film. Students will have the chance to explore accessible texts, with a fair degree of challenge. This CCA aims to improve knowledge of Hispanic culture and society but also develop reading and listening skills.
Sports Coaching Education
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 11-13
Coach education sessions for students in Years 11–13 will provide a basic understanding of how to support and deliver coaching to younger football players. The focus will be on session design, coaching methodology, and creating a positive learning environment. Students interested should contact Mr Potter.
Theme Park Challenge

Create a new theme park for Singapore and pitch it for the chance to win Universal Studios tickets! The CCA is cross-curricular with aspects of Business, Enterprise, Geography and Languages, and is group-based. Get ready to create your park, market it and design your prototype rollercoaster.
The Last Word: Online
Day/Time: Thursday, 3-4pm Year: 9-13
The Last Word is Tanglin Trust School’s independent online magazine/blog written by students, for students. It is open to all students from year 9 to year 13 and we meet weekly in E2 of the Sixth Form Centre. Through this CCA, students are encouraged to pursue their passion in writing by producing articles that cover everything from current world affairs to film recommendations. Whilst also supporting students in developing their writing skills, The Last Word also provides a platform where students are able to share their different interests and opinions with the help of Mr Coe, one of the school’s English teachers.

Writers Unblocked

Calling all budding author, poets and playwrights. Writers Unblocked is Tanglin's Society for creative writers in all genres. Sessions will involve input on different aspects of writer's craft, time to work on your own writing and the opportunity to receive feedback from peers, teachers and professional writers. We welcome students who would like to develop their writing in a range of forms including novels, short stories, poetry, fan fiction, and even graphic novels and playscripts/ screenplays.
Zoology & Dissection Society

The Zoology & Dissection Society takes you on a journey through the Animal kingdom as we trace the origins of Animals from the simplest of Sponges to the most complex Mammals. On our way we will learn the secrets of their unique anatomies and adaptations through Dissection. This activity is perfect for those with and interest in Animals (Zoology), Anatomy, Physiology and those with a general interest in dissection based skills and biological drawing
YEAR 12 CAS OPTIONS
2020 English Support Course
Day/Time: Wednesday lunchtime
This project gives you the opportunity to show real leadership and commitment if you are thinking of applying for positions of responsibility. You will work in small groups planning a programme for the local support staff at TTS to learn English and perhaps computer skills. You will need to be patient and make people feel comfortable working with you. There will be a need to tailor your efforts to the individual staff member that you are working with. This project has been amazingly successful and has been written about in magazines!
Caring for CambodiaCommunity Outreach
Day/Time: Monday, 3-4pm
Working closely with Caring for Cambodia, this activity will develop a project that supports the people of Cambodia. It is likely that members of this group will be given priority on the 2025 Cambodia CAS trip so that they can see their projects in action.
