Did you know it takes 9-days to experience everything at Tamarack Resort? We are thrilled to present an exciting sample itinerary to Tamarack, where unforgettable experiences and thrilling activities await you and your loved ones. Get ready for a journey filled with adventure, relaxation, and fun for all ages:

Day 1: Arrival

After checking in at our cozy lodge, take a leisurely stroll through The Village and base area, immersing yourself in the stunning surroundings. For those looking to kick off the adventure right away, we recommend trying your hand at axe throwing (ages 12 and up).

Day 2: Mountain Biking and Lake Adventures

Start the day on an exhilarating downhill mountain biking expedition suitable for all ages. In the afternoon, explore the tranquil beauty of Lake Cascade together on a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. As evening descends upon the resort, indulge in live music and a delightful dinner on the plaza.

Day 3: Zip Lining and Lake Escapades

While the kids enjoy an exciting first day at Camp Tam, a new summer adventure program, soar through the treetops on an epic zip line adventure, minimum weight of 85 lbs. Later, rent a boat and create lasting memories on Lake Cascade.

Day 4: Rafting and Camp Fun

Prepare for a day packed with adrenaline and laughter. Enjoy whitewater river rafting (ages 5 and up) and let the little ones continue their adventure at day camp.

Day 5: E-Biking and Lake Thrills

While the kids embark on day three of thrilling adventures, adults can embark on an e-bike ride through the scenic Meadows Trails, ages 13 and up. In the afternoon, rev up the excitement with a jet ski session on Lake Cascade, adult driver required. End the day with a refreshing dip at the swimming pool at the Lodge at Osprey Meadows.

Day 6: Disc Golf, Spa Time, and Kids Camp

Engage in a friendly game of disc golf, all ages, in the morning. While the kids have a blast at their final day at Camp Tam, indulge in relaxation and rejuvenation at the spa and swimming pool.

Day 7: Guided Fishing and Pickleball

Experience the joy of fishing with a guided excursion on Lake Cascade, ages 7 and up. As the day winds down, join in on some family pickleball fun.

Day 8: Golf, Biking, and Leisure

Enjoy a leisurely morning at the driving range or practice area, all ages. In the afternoon, set off on a scenic cross-country bike ride through Meadows Trails, all ages.

Day 9: Scenic Chairlift Ride and Farewell

Before bidding farewell, take a morning scenic chairlift ride and hike to the Rocky Overlook. It’s a picturesque spot that offers stunning views, and it’s suitable for all ages. Revel in the breathtaking vistas and create lasting memories. Departure marks the end of an incredible journey, filled with adventure, laughter, and cherished moments.

1. Can you tell us a hidden gem in Valley County that only locals know about?

Crystal Mountain up by Burgdorf Hot Springs is a lot of fun, you can drive, hike, mountain bike, or atv ride to the top. It is pretty unique and a good day followed by a soak in the Burgdorf hot springs.

2. Summer is here, so what are some of your favorite summer traditions? In the Summer it is hard to beat a good MTB ride in the morning and surfing on the lake in the evenings.

3. What are your top 4 movies in no particular order? The Grinch with Jim Carrey, The Great Outdoors, The Simpson’s Movie, and A River Runs Through It

4. In three sentences or less tell us a little bit about yourself. My wife Kaila and I have two amazing kids who grew up here in McCall. I truly enjoy snowboarding, skiing, hockey, surfing, mountain biking and hiking all of the public land surrounding us the most. I was raised in an Idaho resort community in the real estate side of life and loved every minute of it.

5. What do you like best about living here in Valley County? The direct access to all of the recreation that I love the most. Followed closely by the great apres mountain food, drinks and entertainment. There is not a single day that we can not find something fun and exciting to do.

6. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Fly, my grandfather, father and brother all had pilots licenses and I would love to learn to fly one day.

7. What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13? Work hard, pay attention in school, and no matter what hard work beats talent when talent is not working hard!

8. What advice do you have for anyone looking to sell or buy right now?

My best advice is that NOW is the time to buy to start making memories that will last lifetimes and generations. A person can think they have “more time” however we truly never know. Do not put off until tomorrow what you can do today.

9. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

I would buy a ski in ski out estate home, but in a trust and ensure that my kids, grand kids, great grand kids, etc would have a place to come to, enjoy, learn, and most importantly a place for generations to come to make memories, share stories, and live life!

10. Lastly, what is your favorite thing about working in real estate?

In a resort community / second home community my favorite thing is the memories. The grandparents who are buying a place for the family to enjoy and a place to gather together. The parents who are buying a place to spend time with the family to make memories. At the end of the day memories are our legacy and I enjoy helping buyers and sellers continue to make those memories.
