1. Can you tell us a hidden gem in Valley County that only locals know about?

Crystal Mountain up by Burgdorf Hot Springs is a lot of fun, you can drive, hike, mountain bike, or atv ride to the top. It is pretty unique and a good day followed by a soak in the Burgdorf hot springs.

2. Summer is here, so what are some of your favorite summer traditions? In the Summer it is hard to beat a good MTB ride in the morning and surfing on the lake in the evenings.

3. What are your top 4 movies in no particular order? The Grinch with Jim Carrey, The Great Outdoors, The Simpson’s Movie, and A River Runs Through It

4. In three sentences or less tell us a little bit about yourself. My wife Kaila and I have two amazing kids who grew up here in McCall. I truly enjoy snowboarding, skiing, hockey, surfing, mountain biking and hiking all of the public land surrounding us the most. I was raised in an Idaho resort community in the real estate side of life and loved every minute of it.

5. What do you like best about living here in Valley County? The direct access to all of the recreation that I love the most. Followed closely by the great apres mountain food, drinks and entertainment. There is not a single day that we can not find something fun and exciting to do.

6. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Fly, my grandfather, father and brother all had pilots licenses and I would love to learn to fly one day.

7. What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13? Work hard, pay attention in school, and no matter what hard work beats talent when talent is not working hard!

8. What advice do you have for anyone looking to sell or buy right now?

My best advice is that NOW is the time to buy to start making memories that will last lifetimes and generations. A person can think they have “more time” however we truly never know. Do not put off until tomorrow what you can do today.

9. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

I would buy a ski in ski out estate home, but in a trust and ensure that my kids, grand kids, great grand kids, etc would have a place to come to, enjoy, learn, and most importantly a place for generations to come to make memories, share stories, and live life!

10. Lastly, what is your favorite thing about working in real estate?

In a resort community / second home community my favorite thing is the memories. The grandparents who are buying a place for the family to enjoy and a place to gather together. The parents who are buying a place to spend time with the family to make memories. At the end of the day memories are our legacy and I enjoy helping buyers and sellers continue to make those memories.
