Charolais Cattle and Charolais People have been in my life for as long as I can remember. I remember going to the Consort Vet Clinic to semen test bulls with my Dad when I was 5 years old, the old man vet was smoking a cigar. I came home and told my mom it was the greatest day in my life and I wanted to be just like that Vet. I can remember driving out to Ray & MaryAnn McKeary with my Dad and Wilf Sieger when I was 8 years old touring cattle and enjoying Ray’s jokes and hospitality, then coming home to tell my mom it was the greatest day with those Charolais people. I remember going to Calgary Stampede with my Dad when I was 10 years old and watching Jimmy Joe Henderson show my dad’s bull SVC Futurist and winning the Supreme Championship and coming home to tell my mom what a great day we had and I wanted to be just like Jimmy Joe. As I write this welcome letter I have always known the person I always wanted to be just like was my DAD! The man that gave me EVERYTHING I ever needed The man that took me EVERYWHERE in the world I wanted to go The man that gave me EVERY opportunity in the world And finally the man that gave me the life skills to be successful. Charolais cattle and Charolais people have been so good to me and my family, I just want to thank you all for all of the support this past year and over all the years you have shown me and my family. Thank you. Our focus continues to be on raising the very best Charolais genetics that we can, and I think we continue that with this years lineup. The Donors will stack up to any Donor battery in North America. The sires are leaders in the industry. The offspring are cutting edge and high quality. I am so proud of our girls, as they get older they are becoming smart beautiful young women that are in involved in many things including the CCYA and the Wildfire club volleyball team they both play on that Indy is the captain of and Scarlet’s hard work has turned herself into a strong setter for the team. I have many things and people to be thankful for this year but I really want to thank my Mom Wanda, and my sister Tanisha, they have been so incredible for me and are always here to help, so thank you very much. My wife Justine has been the strongest person around PCC for the past year, the way she has handled everything that has happened and kept everyone’s life moving forward is truly incredible. The bulk of the offering is based on the results of their highly successful embryo program… so you will get to select from brothers and half brothers out of the most predictable donors in the breed. Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final. Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures. Breeder’s Guarantee: Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze. Exception Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder. Rights and Obligations: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Interesting herdbull that really is smooth made has that extra length we always talk about combined with a finer bone and low birth weight should calve real easy with the negative Birth weight EPD.
