






This time of the year is so much fun. As we exit some cold winter weather and get ready for Spring we consider new menu items and flavors. We move from heavier entrees to lighter fare. We see our produce suppliers moving from southern growing regions to those lush fields of the Salinas Valley. We anticipate local produce programs kicking in soon and anticipate some really great local options. Our guests have new energy as Spring and warmer weather activities get them moving. Time to use our most valuable marketing tool – our menu – to drive traffic, increase efficiency, and grow profitably.
In our April toolkit we will give you some ideas on how you can identify some on trend flavors and incorporate them into your menu without disruption to your kitchen. You will see on trend seasoning and rubs paired with sauces that enhance great flavor in ways you can execute. It is very important you keep your menus on trend to attract those new customers and keep your current customers coming back week after week.
