Strawberries

We are now into full supply of Irish strawberries from two of our local berry suppliers. Both quality and availability is strong at the minute.
Passion Fruit

Storms and heavy rain in source countries has caused availability to go extremely limited on passion fruit. Issue is expected to last another one to two weeks.
Chipping Potatoes

No issues anticipated with quality at present. Planting of new season is complete. Crops have been progressing well and the rain of late has just been right on time for a lot of the earlier emerged crops that were starting to show signs of drought stress.
Lemons

Availability has improved drastically in recent weeks. We have moved away from Spanish product and have fully transitioned to southern hemisphere fruit.
Gooseberries

Clarkes Gooseberries are now available to order. The season for this product is potentially short however quality is excellent. Sysco code 482586.
New Season Potatoes

Update from Wilsons: Planting for new season potatoes has been fully completed as of the end of May. The slight bit of rain experienced in some areas recently was welcomed by growers as conditions have been extremely dry.
Large Mango

Large mango is currently unavailable. Quality from source is too poor currently. An update will be shared on this product shortly.

Chervil is now back in full supply and no availability issue are expected at present.
Salad Potatoes

There are currently no issues with availability. Old season stocks are finishing up and new season potatoes are expected to be introduced by the end of June/early July.

Currently transitioning from winter origins (Northern Hemisphere) to summer origins (Southern Hemisphere). As a result, there is a challenge with the consistency of internal pressures on our RTE avocados. We are working closely with our supplier to limit the impact to the end customer as much as possible however there is a possibility we will see more inconsistent pressures for the next few weeks.
Spanish Onions

New season Spanish onions will begin to filter into stock by next week. Internal quality is excellent with no signs of breakdown. The skin finish is typical for this time of year. Customers can expect skin to be thin which may make the product more vulnerable to physical damage. This will begin to subside as we progress further into the season.
