ed,Delorisdecidestobreak upwithhim,butwhenshe goestofindhim,sheaccidentallyseeshimkilloneof hiscronies.Delorisrunsto thepolice,whoplaceherin hidingataconventuntil Curtisisbroughttotrial.

Atfirst,Delorisfeelsas thoughitwillbetheworst thingintheworld,chafing againsttheconstraintsof conventlifeandanimmovableReverendMother,but oncesheisintroducedtothe strugglingchoirattheconvent,everythingchanges. Shefindsthatmanyofthe nunsattheconventarenot thatdifferentfromher,and thattheyarequitefuntobe around.Theyhelpgivehera biggerpurposeinherlife, showingheragenuinelove andaffectionthatwasmissingpriortoherarrivalatthe convent.SisterActisajoyousshowthatusesmusicto bringdifferentcommunities, andlifestyles,together.The directorforSisterActisCathy James.SisterActwaswritten byCheri&BillSteinkellner withmusicbyAlanMenken andlyricsbyGlennSlater.

GarySkellyisaceramicsartistwhohasover35yearsof experienceinpottery,sculpture,andporcelainlighting.He worksbothonthewheelandwithslabbedpiecesofclayand hasextensiveexperiencewithRakuandSaggarfiring.Although continuinghisloveofworkinginporcelain,Garyhasrecently venturedintotheintricatehighfireprocessofcrystallinepottery wherecrystalsareactuallygrownonthesurfaceofthepotsduringacontrolledfiringprocess.Inadditiontohiscrystallinework, Gary’sartworkalsoincludesuniquecarvedfloraanddinosaur

Thefirstreadingfestivalwas heldinCentennialParkand featuredauthorandjournalist CarlHiaasenasthekeynote speaker.
