Give My Regards to GULF COAST SYMPHONY

Two local favorites join the Gulf Coast Symphony for the Give My Regards to Broadway! concert on Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. Mark Sanders and Carolann Sanita join the Gulf Coast Symphony for a delightful program of Broadway favorites. From toe-tapping tunes to memorable ballads, these two singers will bring their charm and talents to some of Broadway’s best songs. Carolann Mark Sanders is a South Florida resident Sanita who has appeared in numerous productions and concerts around the world, including regular performances with the Gulf Coast Symphony. Mark was seen as Perchik on the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof and recently portrayed ‘Bud’ Johnson in the critically acclaimed production of The Bridges of Madison County at SlowBurn

Theatre Company in Ft. Lauderdale. Carolann Sanita is a New York City native now living in Naples. She has toured as Marian in the first national tour of The Music Man and internationally as Maria in the European and Asian tours of West Side Story. Established in 1996, the Gulf Coast Symphony, led by music & executive director Dr. Andrew M. Kurtz, is one of the most Mark Sanders dynamic community orchestras in the United States. These two world-renowned singers will be in Southwest Florida one night only, performing at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW Aug. 17. Tiki Fest Aug. 10 at Fishermen’s Village

Fishermen’s Village presents its fourth annual Tiki Fest on Saturday, Aug. 10 from noon to 4 p.m. Promising to be a full afternoon of family friendly tiki fun. Event admission and parking are free. Some highlights of the event include trop rock music featuring the JP’s Island duo, steel drum music by Sunny Jim White, variety music by Tiki Tom and L.A.

Daniels, the Waikiki Hula Dancers show, photos with international mermaid Faith Lynn, Jeff the “Tiki” juggler, face painting, tiki games, limbo, sand art creations, tiki decor and tropical clothing shopping, Hawaiian leis giveaways and more. Naples Bay Resort summer concerts Aug. 4 & 11

The Naples Bay Resort & Marina has expanded its popular indoor concert series to the summer months. Enjoy the sounds of Motown and a Chicago tribute band at The Pointe, an intimate, waterfront venue located at 1500 Fifth Avenue South in Naples. The summer series kicked off in June and wraps up in August. An evening of Motown will be presented Sunday, Aug. 4 by The Ex-Bachelors. The show will run from 7 to 9 p.m. The Ex Bachelors were formed as an original group of talented musicians playing some great original songs and also some of their favorite rock & roll and blues songs. Back to Chicago - A legacy of rock and horns, plays Sunday, Aug. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. Back To Chicago is the area’s only true musical tribute to the famous band Chicago. Concert attendees can enjoy an evening of a legacy of rock and horns dedicated to providing a musical experience next to none. The unique indoor venue is intimate for the entertainers, and the room is set up to emulate the style of cabaret theater shows. Tickets are $45 for each concert. For those interested in dinner and a concert, those tickets are $85 each. Buffet dinner is followed by the tribute concert (dinner is served from 5 to 6:30 p.m.).
