COMMUNITY Be part of the largest and fastest growing event professionals group Suncoast Wedding & Event Leaders, or SWEL, focuses on helping strengthen businesses through top quality networking events, education and connecting members to prospective couples and clients.

We are located in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Not local to Sarasota? No problem! You’ll be in good company as SWEL draws members from surrounding markets like Naples, Ft. Myers, St Petersburg, Tampa and Orlando.

Members of SWEL are more than just vendors buying tickets to incredible events.

They are visionaries, innovators and creators making fantastic experiences for their clients. SWEL members are building their businesses while simultaneously building a community. They are staying on top of trends, growing their networks, and continually updating their best practices in an ever-changing industry.

Our members do more than trade business cards. They trade knowledge while developing relationships that transcend event day.

And mostly, they are leaders.

Membership includes: Admission for 2 employees to monthly networking events taking place the second week of the month. Most of these events will be held in Sarasota/Bradenton. 10 events per year.

Listing on swelevents.com and suncoastweddingsandevents.com Listing in the printed Suncoast Wedding & Events Guide 2022 Showcasing opportunities at events and online Discounts on additional SWEL Experiences. Examples from the past include kayak trips, trolley tours and other unique ways of networking Discounts on and access to advertising in the annual printed guide with 5000+ copies being distributed.

Minimum of 5 educational seminars throughout the year plus access to all recordings of previous seminars.

Our Events NETWORKING

Our events range from casual cocktail parties to over-the-top themed extravaganzas. Members and vendor partners get to showcase their work in new ways with unique concepts.

Attendees are able to find new services and inspiration to take back to their own events all while mingling with seasoned industry professionals.

EDUCATION

You are never too experienced, established or old to learn something new. That is why we put on seminars, summits and other learning opportunities throughout the year. We bring in knowledgeable and engaging speakers to help our members continue to grow their businesses.

What's New in 2022 MEMBERSHIP ?

SWEL has been

focusing on business-tobusiness relationships by creating stellar networking and education opportunities since 2016. While that will always be our main focus, we are adding a business-to-customer element to our membership by offering a brand new website and printed guide.

Connecting Our Members To Couples and Clients in 2022

Website A new website is coming aimed at reaching couples and clients. Each member will have their own landing page to direct visitors to the member businesses. Blogs will also have member features, advice, real weddings and more. The website will be promoted through channels including Google and social ads, as well as local media.

Guide The 30+ page guide will feature all of our members, articles, styled shoots and more. 5000+ distribution will reach prospective clients through wedding expos, bridal salons, jewelry stores, venues and other event businesses.

ALL members will be listed in the guide at no additional cost.

Membership fees are not going up.
