Ed’s Letter
A Letter from the Editor November 2020 Ed’s Letter
2020 is nearly done and it’s been such a tough year that many are looking forward to 2021 – to be honest I’m in that group. Personally it’s been a very tough year and I am glad I have Supernal to be working on to fill my days.
This issue covers some fascinating insights into the world of the crystal kingdom. Chatting with Deputy Ed, Freya yesterday, I realised it’s been 12 months since I studied Crystal Dreaming™ under her tutelage in Western Australia with an amazing group of people.
Becoming a Crystal Dreaming™ practitioner has been a journey unto itself. It took a couple of months to assimilate the energy shifts this training bought about, then when I was ready to start sessions with my students, Covid-19 hit and that’s as far as it’s gone. Now as Melbourne starts to open up again I am excited to be getting ready to continue that part of the journey.
The relevance to Crystal Dreaming™ has shown me how to work with crystals in a very different way to how I have previously.
Anthony Kilner
I love my crystals and the connection with the Fetish (consciousness) that dwells within has always felt special to me.
Pondering that relationship is an interesting thing to do. I feel drawn to choose a crystal to wear, to do healing work with or to take home from the shop. Have you ever wondered why our intuition kicks in when we are choosing a crystal? I believe whole heartedly that it’s the Fetish that calls to us, to our crystalline self, responding to our energy and thoughts with an unwavering need to share their love and energetic support.
It’s this love and support that really connects on a heart level with all beings on this planet and beyond. Crystals have so much information to share with us mere mortals that one could spend a lifetime working with them, and every crystal connection will offer yet more information of one description or another.
The shared connection from the Earth to us and even gems such as meteorites, impactites, and tektites from outer space, Moldavite for example which is thought to have been created during an asteroid
impact 15 million years ago, brings about a connection that is simply meant to be shared, hence why we drawn to buy crystals, and it is pertinent to remember however, that we don’t own them!

In this issue our experienced team have shared personal and professional information about the impact crystals have had on their lives, and information and history about the crystals themselves.
Jane Offer talks about being a crystal sceptic and how they have added so much to her life when she realised there was more to crystals than just pretty colours. ShirleySienna has put together some great words on being a Crystal Skull custodian as well as working and healing with Crystals.
Freya Sampson has delved into the history of Atlantis and Lemuria and their complex lives here on the planet as well as digging into the alchemy and metaphysical properties of crystals and how to work with them.
Yours truly managed an interview with a true rock boffin in Bianca McGuirk from SheEarth in Melbourne. Bianca comes from a long line of crystal and rock lovers and is a Gemmologist as well. There’s a huge passion in her for all things crystals.
Louise Clarke has penned a piece on crystalline water and how it works with and within us! There are some amazing facts to read and we’ll possibly look at some further stories based around water in 2021 – it’s critical to all life on this planet!
On top of all this we have our regular columnists smashing out some deep and meaningful stories to keep readers entertained including Celeste de Vis’s fur babies story as a part of her Over the Rainbow column. This is a great lead in to the December issue all about animals.
