I would recommend the Puakea Ranch to anyone looking to have a wedding, family reunion, or just throw a great party. Contact us with your dates, and any questions you might have, and we will send you a proposal and contract to book! You can book your event before or simultaneously with booking your cottage(s). For dates 8 months out or more, you will not be able to book cottages without booking an event.
Check our our availability calendar! If all 4 cottages are available, an Estate Event is possible. If only James and Cowboy are available, a Party Barn Event is possible. If just one cottage is available, only an elopement or quiet lanai event is possible. If you have any questions about availability or options, be sure to email us!
Not a required list, but we do have a preferred list!
While we recommend hiring from our preferred vendors, you are welcome to hire any professional vendors of your choosing. Events without a planner from our preferred list will have a $35/hour fee for one of our events team to be on-site for the duration of the event, setup and cleanup. We highly recommend an event planner!!!
Yes! As long as you have rented Miles Away for the 3-night minimum, you can host an event for 20 guests or less at your cottage and the nearby surrounding grounds. There will be $500 event fee, and no amplified music will be allowed.
Yes! As long as you have rented Yoshi’s for the 5 night minimum, you can host an event for 40 guests or less at your cottage and the nearby surrounding grounds. There will be $750 event fee, and no amplified music will be allowed. Perfect for intimate dinners!
WE WOULD LIKE TO ELOPE AT PUAKEA WITH THE ELOPEMENT PACKAGE BUT NEED HELP ARRANGING OUR FLOWERS, PHOTOGRAPHY, DINNER ETC. IS THAT SOMETHING YOU COULD HELP WITH?
Yes! Our concierge would be happy to create a custom package for you with everything you need for a stress-free elopement! You can also check out our Preferred Vendor List if you would like to hire any vendors you’ll need directly!

We chose Puakea Ranch for our small and intimate wedding ceremony. We stayed in the cowboy house, while our guests occupied the James Cottage and Miles Away. The fresh eggs, herbs, and mangos straight off the trees were a delightful part of the experience as were the sweet animals living on the property. We highly recommend Puakea Ranch for anyone looking for a natural, rustic venue.
I just rented the entire property for a week to host a retreat. It was as perfect as it could be! The old buildings are absolutely charming and the rustic, yet elegant quality offers a relaxed and comfortable stay. This was truly a perfect place to gather with friends. If you want a truly unique experience and love a little adventure and taste of old Hawaii, do come and delight your senses.
