This theater’s fun name reflects the giant Gilbert entertainment complex in which it is housed. This AMC property in Phoenix was completely revamped to offer two upgraded theater experiences. Fork and Screen, for guests 18 and older as well as accompanied minors, offers reclining seats while Cinema Suites, for guests 21 and older, has seating which extends fully, offering a chance to watch and lounge. Guests can order food and beverages, including cocktails, at the push of a button. Billed as Phoenix’s TRUE Indie cinema, this downtown spot is home to a diverse selection of movies. From cult classics to documentaries, it’s the spot for independent and foreign films. FilmBar has one theater with just under 80 seats, and an intimate bar and lounge in the lobby. You can choose from an interesting selection of craft beers and wine, along with food that strays off the path of traditional movie fare, like tamales.
