Monday 17th August 1970 - SOLO I was given my route which was to coincide with my Archaeology project ~ most of it by road.

I camped by the River Dart on a really beautiful spot 66274.

It was really nice and I think this made a pleasant end to the day.

PS. went for a walk about a mile down river it was really beautiful, it gave me the sensation that there where no other people on the Earth and looking at the river it is really a fascinating picture, really clear with the water swirling round the rocks ~ it gave me a fantastic natural feeling.
