Chloe was eight months pregnant when she and her daughter were forced to live out of their car. Then, they found Family Promise. Complications with the pregnancy required an emergency C-section. Chloe’s son was born with rare congenital health issues, and Chloe developed an infection that necessitated additional surgery. Family Promise identified short-term care for the baby and facilitated meals, laundry, and childcare for Chloe’s daughter while Chloe recovered from surgery. The family continues to work with Family Promise as they regain stability. Every year, Family Promise’s homelessness prevention, shelter, and stabilization services enable thousands of families like Chloe’s to overcome challenging situations and achieve lasting independence. Since 1988, Family Promise has served families in need, and we'll continue to be there. Because every child deserves a home. www.familypromise.org Summit-headquartered Family Promise has served more than 1 million individuals since 1988 and targets the root causes of family homelessness through prevention, emergency shelter, and stabilization support.
