Complications with the pregnancy required an emergency C-section. Chloe’s son was born with rare congenital health issues, and Chloe developed an infection that necessitated additional surgery. Family Promise identified short-term care for the baby and facilitated meals, laundry, and childcare for Chloe’s daughter while Chloe recovered from surgery. The family continues to work with Family Promise as they regain stability. Every year, Family Promise’s homelessness prevention, shelter, and stabilization services enable thousands of families like Chloe’s to overcome challenging situations and achieve lasting independence. Since 1988, Family Promise has served families in need, and we'll continue to be there. Because every child deserves a home. www.familypromise.org
