Wetherill Park and Development Overview Stockland Wetherill Park has been part of the Fairfield community for more than 30 years. Since opening in 1983, the centre continues to expand and accommodate the growing community of Fairfield.
1998 The centre progressively expanded to include Hoyts Cinemas, professional and medical suites as well as free-standing fast food outlets.
2000 - 2003 The centre underwent another redevelopment with the addition of Target, 30 new specialty stores (including a fresh food precinct) and a 400seat food court.
MARCH 2015 The centre opened Stage 1 of the $222 million redevelopment, which included Kinchin Lane Restaurant precinct, JB Hi-Fi, Amart Sports, Kathmandu, Fit n Fast Gym, 55 specialty stores and 850 car parking spaces.
DECEMBER 2015 This week we are proud to open the final stage of the $222 million dollar redevelopment, which includes a brand-new Coles supermarket, a new alfresco food court, children’s play space, 30 additional specialty stores, and an additional 900 car parking spaces. stockland.com.au/wetherillpark
