Whether it’s taking the time to listen to how you take your tea, the soothing feeling of being able to take a bath with the help of the nurses on the ward, or the calm explanation of your medication from the doctor – at St Wilfrid’s Hospice, we deliver expert care and compassion for people in the last phase of their lives. Thanks to our supporters, we have helped those with life limiting and terminal illnesses to make the most of every day for over 35 years. Every year since we first opened our doors, the need for our care has increased and, today, we meet over 900 patients each year.
