COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES Throughout the 2020-2021 school year, we have successfully kept our students and faculty on campus for in-person learning with no known cases of on-site COVID-19 transmission We know our safety protocols are effective at keeping our community safe and healthy.

MANDATORY MASKS & HANDWASHING All students and faculty are required to wear masks while on campus. For some outdoor activities where students and staff can maintain physical distance, masks could be removed depending on the circumstances. Additional sinks have been added throughout the campus to encourage regular student and staff handwashing regularly throughout the day.

DAILY CLEANING In addition to routine facility cleaning, there will be daily cleaning of all high-touch surfaces throughout our indoor and outdoor camp spaces (i.e. playground equipment, desks, doorknobs, stairwell railings, etc.)

PHYSICAL DISTANCING We encourage physical distancing and have made adjustments to group sizes and spaces to allow for more space. We do not allow parent and visitor access to campus except for extenuating circumstances. Large group gatherings and cross-cohort interactions are limited. In addition, we utilize outdoor classroom spaces and encourage outdoor time.

COHORT GROUPING & QUARANTINE GUIDELINES Students will stay in cohort groups throughout their time on campus.. In the event that a student or staff member tests positive for COVID, we will notify parents in the relevant cohort. If the student or staff member was on-site while contagious, we may ask a cohort to quarantine for 7-10 days. We ask that a student or staff member remain at home in the following circumstances: • If they are symptomatic • If a member of their household is symptomatic • If they or a member of their household is awaiting COVID test results Our safety procedures were developed with advice from the local KCMO Health Department, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and CDC guidelines. St. Paul’s may change safety protocols as needed to align with evolving guidance from public health authorities. To learn more about our COVID-19 safety procedures, please visit speds.org/returntoschool. If you have questions about our COVID procedures, please reach out to Kellee Pearson, Director of Auxiliary Programs at kpearson@speds.org or 816-268-6536.
