Dear Editor, I am trying to trace a lady named Ann who used to work at Eastern Gas, Arlesey during the 1980's. I would very much like to get back in touch with Ann as she was a great friend to both myself and my husband. I believe she lived along Arlesey Road but cannot be certain. If you know Ann or maybe you are Ann, please get in touch with the Stotfold News Magazine on 01462 731986 and they will put us back in touch. Many thanks, Mr & Mrs Henshaw.

I have just had my fence repaired by Stotfold Fencing. I would just like to say what a pleasure it was to meet Nath and his wife and we are really pleased with the work they have done. Thank you so much, Jan and Steve Purvis

Dear Editor, Maybe in common with other hard pressed tax payers I was gobsmacked to receive this years Council Tax demand showing an increase in excess of 14% for Stotfold Town Council. Possibly through the Stotfold News magazine a member of STC could go into print to justify this exorbitant increase. Malcolm Roberts Dear Editor, I just wanted to write an email to see if you could post in your magazine a huge thank you to a stranger who stopped to do a good deed. A gentleman on Sunday 3rd April at around 10 am stopped in his silver car near The Green in Stotfold to help myself and my 2 young children across the road and in the process may have hurt himself. I want to apologise if he did hurt himself and also say thank you. It is nice to know they're are still people in the world willing to help complete strangers. He was a true gentleman I just hope he is OK. If he could let us know he is ok I would be grateful as I have been worrying about him since. Kind Regards Terri Charles www.stotfoldandarleseynews.co.uk
