Dear Editor, Maybe in common with other hard pressed tax payers I was gobsmacked to receive this years Council Tax demand showing an increase in excess of 14% for Stotfold Town Council. Possibly through the Stotfold News magazine a member of STC could go into print to justify this exorbitant increase. Malcolm Roberts Dear Editor, I just wanted to write an email to see if you could post in your magazine a huge thank you to a stranger who stopped to do a good deed. A gentleman on Sunday 3rd April at around 10 am stopped in his silver car near The Green in Stotfold to help myself and my 2 young children across the road and in the process may have hurt himself. I want to apologise if he did hurt himself and also say thank you. It is nice to know they're are still people in the world willing to help complete strangers.
