Swiss Winter Magic

For more inspiration, see → switzerland.com
Isn’t it wonderful to witness spring not only bringing nature to life, but the city and the countryside too? Sometimes the baa-lmy wind even carries the sounds from Lake Geneva to me in Valais. There is so much to discover here! And for that matter, have you noticed Switzerland Tourism has a new look too?
When the sun’s rays begin to warm up the land so that my curly hair finally stays dry even at night, I venture higher up into the barren mountain landscape. Once there, I encounter intrepid biking enthusiasts and families who I would love to spend more time with, as I rarely get to enjoy so many pets and cuddles.
The days pass incredibly quickly and, as soon as the grapes are ready for harvesting, we are summoned back down to the lowlands. Nevertheless, sometimes I sneak back up to the snowy landscape to see what crazy ideas people have come up with this year for racing down the slopes. Not baa-d!
But now the time has come for you to get going and make your own discoveries.
Safe travels!

Winter
Geneva
Wellness and relaxation in the city’s finest spas, visits to the best chocolate factories, fine dining and daytrips to the Alps, Geneva is a real winter gem for an authentically delightful stay.

You’ve been dreaming of it every year, already imagining yourself with hot chocolate in hand, a snuggly beanie on your head, blowing on your fingers by the fire? When winter comes in Geneva, the Christmas market comes back with it! Join us this year from November 21st to December 24th for even more magic by the lake.

The superb old-fashioned carousel will have young and old dreaming throughout the Christmas Market and the yurt will bring children together for a programme of all kinds of activities, crafts, Christmas decorations, games, face painting, and plenty to laugh about and have fun!
The Choco Pass is a wonderful way to explore the city while discovering Geneva's chocolate makers to taste their most delicious specialities.
