GOALS STUDENT SUCCESS Each student will reach their academic potential in an innovative learning environment, based on their capabilities and interests.

STUDENT WELL-BEING St. Mary’s fosters the growth of the whole student; nurturing and enhancing the intellectual, spiritual, and social-emotional growth in a setting that is joyful and supportive.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Data will drive decision making processes to continuously improve all institutional operations to achieve excellence.

PARTNERSHIPS St. Mary’s will broaden opportunities for students by developing and strengthening relationships across all members of our ever-expanding community. This includes, but is not limited to, alumnae, families, friends, benefactors, foundations, non-profits, businesses, government agencies.

1. Each graduate will have engaged in at least one experience that represents workplace skills, qualities, or behaviors. 2. Each student will participate in at least one extracurricular experience, club, or organization. 3. All courses will develop and improve on skillsets as determined by the previous class/cohort. 4. Each student will feel prepared & supported throughout their college planning & search process. 5. Each student will have a personalized learning plan to meet their needs.

• Embed global competencies; critical thinking, collaboration & communication into both curriculum and instruction. • Adapt the curriculum and instruction to the needs of each student. • Provide learning opportunities in a variety of settings, times & formats to align knowledge, skills & personal interests with career & higher education objectives. • Ensure equity of access and opportunity across all school programs. • Establish intentional and focused curriculum maps, syllabi and lesson plans.

6. E ach student can identify at least one school employee who supports and encourages their academic and personal growth. 7. Each Elementary and Middle School student will have an older student who is an assigned buddy/mentor. 8. Each student will see themselves represented in classroom materials. 9. Each student is instructed with Catholic values and provided the opportunity and space to grow in their spirituality. 10. St. Mary’s will invest in adjustment counselors & programming for student mental and emotional health.

• Integrate culturally relevant concepts and practices into all courses & school activities. • Establish & promote a culture of physical and mental wellness. • Broaden the Campus Ministry program to encompass the entire school day. • Recruit & retain personnel dedicated to the social & emotional health of each student.

11. A ll School plans will utilize SMARTIE goals in alignment with Ascend 2026. 12. St. Mary’s will actively recruit an employee base that is reflective of the students we serve. 13. S t. Mary’s departments and campuses will collaborate to plan cost effective and innovate means to meet organizational needs. 14. All campus space will be evaluated annually so as to meet the needs of the school operation. 15. St. Mary’s will perform annual standardized tests and formative assessments on student academic performance.

• Provide developmental opportunities for all staff through relevant professional learning opportunities and formalized annual evaluations. • Create a culture of collaboration and partnerships. • Manage available resources & assets efficiently and cost effectively to create and ensure a sustainable financial model. • Develop and strengthen annual student achievement evaluations. • Create a culture focused on data driven decision making.

16. T he partnerships/volunteer opportunities will meet the needs of students, specifically with regard to the creation of real-world experiences. 17. T he School will actively partner with local and federal government to better the overall School initiatives. 18. The School will collaborate with local organizations to create opportunities & positively impact student success & development.
