24-25 Uniform Guidelines

Dress Code 2024-25 School Year Grades PK-12 The following items must be purchased through St. Mary’s Uniform Store.

Polo Shirt St. Mary’s Polo Shirt in navy blue for grades 6-12 and light blue for grades PK-5 with school name and logo on left side. Navy blue, black or white long sleeved shirts may be worn under polo. No sweatshirts (hooded or not) are to be worn under polo.

Indoor Fleece Options: All Grades St. Mary’s indoor fleece, navy blue, long sleeves, may be worn. St. Mary’s Polo Shirt must be worn under an appropriate sweater or fleece.

Gym Uniform for Grades K-5 Grades K-5 are required to purchase a gym uniform. Gym uniforms include a St. Mary’s t- shirt (light blue) and shorts/ sweatpants.

Students may wear their own sneakers for gym. Grades K - 5 should wear their gym uniform to school on the day they have gym Friday Dress Grades 6-12 only Students may wear official St. Mary’s spirit gear or team shirts on Fridays only.

Uniform pants must be worn. Shoes, sneakers or boots only for footwear.

Dress Code 2024-25 School Year Grades PK-12 The following items are not available for purchase through St. Mary’s Uniform Store. Please adhere to the guidelines when purchasing these items which complete the St. Mary’s Uniform.

Pants Grades K-12 Dockers or Dockers style pants in khaki or navy blue. Pants are to have belt loops with a button or snap and zipper in the front. Pants must have front and back pockets. The waist of one’s pants must be worn on or above the hips. Corduroys, cargo pants, leggings or yoga pants are not allowed. Pants are to be full length and not rolled up. NOTE: PK4 only wear sweatpants to school.

Footwear Brown or black leather dress shoes, flats or any type of sneaker. No sandals, slippers, flip-flops, crocs or high heel shoes are allowed. Boots are allowed during the winter months at the discretion of the Principal or designee. Socks must be worn.

Alternate Dress Code When there is an alternate dress code, i.e. for dress down days, dances, formal events, etc., students are to dress appropriately. For example, students are not to wear tank tops, unless a sleeved t-shirt is worn underneath. No skirt shorter than fingertip length, halter-tops, and exposed midriffs and strapless tops are not allowed. Shorts may never be worn, even on dress down days for all students. All students are to refrain from wearing clothing with inappropriate messages, images, or references. The Principal or designee is the final arbiter of what is deemed appropriate.
